Thank you. I couldn't word it nicely. I am petite (5' 1/2"), and my 4 year old, whom I regularly pick up, weighs 40 lbs. You CAN, you SHOULD, you NEED to lift real weights. They help you medically on SO. MANY. LEVELS. Everything from regulating blood pressure and lowering instances of cardiac unrest to improving bone…

Maybe not death, but certainly a solid maiming.

It is very circumstantial. Some cheaters are just that, cheaters. They can't/won't be faithful to anyone. Others...well who knows. I'm sure there are plenty of reasons. While I know you want the best for your friend, you can't make her change her mind, any more than you can change how tall she is. Unless she wants to leave…

Snackwells Devil's Food Cake cookies. I will eat, literally, the entire box in about 15 minutes.

Get a workup for your migraines done. Make sure they haven't changed, or there aren't other changes. I know it's cliche` (I hated hearing it too), but make sure you are taking in enough fluids. Vitamin water works great, so does gatorade. Pedialyte works but tastes nasty. Of course, there is plain ol water too. Watch what…

My husband has super-wide feet (EEEE), and he found a pair that fit well, made by Brooks. You might want to try them. (also, any sales person that tries a 'might fit', should be flogged. ask for a manager).

My boys are Aiden Lee and Dominic Andre`. (Aiden is 12, and was named that before it became stupidly popular). I would LOVE to name our next son the same as my husband. My hubbs is the third, our next son would be the fourth (which would be IV, and I'm a medic...so it's a nerdy fit). I'd probably call him Jack, though,…

Goal is more inches than numbers, and less fatigue so I can actually get back to working out and feeling better. (chronic illness acting up)

I am severely allergic to mango. Given that I live in Virginia, you wouldn't think it is that much of a problem, but it has exploded on the market as a 'super-fruit', so it's everywhere. I take Allegra twice a day, and have to carry medications with me at all times. I will break out in hives and be itchy if I'm touched by…

I don't remember my weights, as I got sick...then we had to stop using that gym (hubbs no longer in the Navy) and work has kept me from having time to find a different one....anyway I do remember that I was squatting 190. The rest I don't remember, but it was enough to make some of the Navy boys cry. My only goal is to fix…

Farmers. Llama farmers, because llamas are cool. =)

Yea, I definitely am NOT going to purchase it, never even considered it. I just wonder if anyone else has heard of it, because she swears by it.

New best friend! :drinker: My sister and I have plans to convert our parents' property to an animal rescue sanctuary when they pass away. Combined it's 70+ acres...so we have our work cut out for us!

You are not the only one to have been told this. I have, and so has my sister, who is a MENSA member. Ridiculous.

I was a jet engine mechanic in the Air Force. I also am an ASE master tech. I can also lift a stretcher with a patient onboard, and put that stretcher into the ambulance. (Apparently, this is the oddest of them all, as I am only 5' tall, and firefighters look like they got hit by a bus when they see it). I had a VERY wild…

I know this will be coming soon...my son is 11, and they are already going over some of it in health class. He knows that since I'm a paramedic, he will get straight, no bs answers from me. He also knows that he will get my expectations of him (waiting until committed relationship, feels he is old enough to handle being a…

Try seeing an actual allergist. They do food intolerance tests as well, that are extremely accurate.

Adelita's Way - Home School Valedictorian. Our wedding song is on it. =)

Start lifting! It will help you lose weight!

I was a member of one for a bit, but since I can squat my body weight, and bench half of it, they stopped meeting my needs.

It used to be the middle, until I got married. Then, when we moved into our house, I was on the side closest to the door. Then we bought a new bed (after me continuing to sleep in the middle of a full-size bed and me whacking my husband in the face while I was sleeping)...I moved to the side furthest from both the door and…

I'm short, so I find the elliptical to be incredibly uncomfortable, and my knees and legs ache if I try to use it. Personally, I stay away.

Have any of y'all tried Allegra to slow the allergy down some? My doc put me on it after a bad reaction at the grocery store (I didn't eat anything, I was standing at the deli counter near the salad bar where there was a tropical fruit salad). Since taking the Allegra, it's helped with the over-reaction of the allergies…

The two things I miss the most: eating at a Chinese buffet, and going to Tropical Smoothie. =(

My doc thinks I have something like this, because I have a reaction to random fruit at times, but I am confirmed highly allergic to mango. It's the only one that is epi-pen-****-I-am-about-to-die-bad, thankfully. When the other stuff acts up, it's not as bad, but really annoying. Kinda glad I"m not the only one with weird…

I love the little kitty in the doorway!

This has been around a lot longer than some guy named Dave Ramsey. My great-grandmother (passed in 2011 at age 98), was doing that since the great depression. It works, incredibly well, if you are disciplined.
-
It could also be a type of allergy, or mast cell disorder. You could try an OTC Allegra or Claritin and see if it helps also.

squats. in the squat rack, with weight. heavy weight. results are wicked, and they also work the rest of your body (including core) Also, if you can do it...the stair climber machine (that thing is evil).
