OK so after a couple hours reading I figure... I eat 2035, and through my exercise I lose 500 cals, but I don't eat those back because it's not below my BMR of 1544... i think. Some confirmation would be muchly appreciated for this noob!

I second that, a period tracker has helped me realise that the rage isn't me - it's my hormones. It has been such a relief for me and my partner to know it's not just a character flaw!

Yes, every single month. I have a graph I keep of my daily weight, and I also note my period times on it so I know when weight gain I have is correlated to PMS. The spike is always well up, sometimes by several kilos. I just try and pay more attention to my diet and exercise, and look forward to the dramatic drop in 5-7…
