  • I am a stay at home mom (30 yrs old) to 3 kids ages 4, 3, and 6 months. I have lost all my pregnancy weight but I want to lose a few more (about 8-10 lbs). However, I am finding these last lbs very very difficult to lose. In fact, I haven't lost anything in like a month and I am getting very discouraged and upset. I need…
  • I am curious too. I have a Polar FT60.
  • Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred is 20 minutes + warm up and cool down. She also has No More Trouble Zones and Banish Fat Boost Metabolism. Those 2 dvds are 42 minutes long + warm up and cool down. HOWEVER, there are 7 circuits on those dvds and they are each about 6 minutes long---so you can choose however many you want to…
  • I love her dvds---well all of them except the one with the kettlebells and the yoga one ( I don't really care for yoga). I find her very motivating and encouraging. She might be bossy but I think that is her way of showing that she generally cares. I know people have their own opinion about her but I know her dvds…
  • Thanks for the replies. So I am planning on spiking tomorrow. I have also 'banked' some exercise calories for tomorrow. I saved up around an additional 500 calories---from exercise calories this week. So, should I eat my allotted calorie daily deficit to lose .5 lb a week (1530) + my additional 500 exercise calories? Or…
  • I plan on watching:happy: .It is interesting. I saw an episode of a college kid BUT in his mind he was an 18 month old trapped in a college kids body. He would wear a diaper 24/7 and would go home from college and get in his onesies that he had specially made for him. He would play with baby toys and throw temper tantrums…
  • I love the show---and Raylan:smile: . Supposedly he said he would only do the show if they wouldn't kill off Boyd's character (Walter Goggins). I am glad because I love Walter Goggins too---he was awesome in The Shield. They both make the show complete in my opinion:laugh: .
  • Are you a stay at home too? Have you lost weight since switching to the Harris Benedict Formula? I am interested to see if MFP calculations are off...I know it is only an estimate but I am curious because I hit a wall with my weight loss.
  • I have mine set to active. I am also a stay at home mom to a 4, 3, and a 6 month old. I am also on my feet a lot. I also workout about 5-6 hours a week. I recently changed mine to active because I hadn't been losing on sedentary OR lightly active. I haven't lost anything in like a month and it is very frustrating and…
  • Is this bad? I really want to do a boudoir photo shoot. Not something too scandalous for fear that my kids might find it. Just something that I can look at every now and then to remind myself how hard I worked to get there and to keep me on track to staying in shape. I know my hubby would like it too:laugh: ... and a new…
  • Thanks everyone for your help and advice:smile: .
  • I posted about this on page 5 because stuff like that grosses me out too...I think you have a fear called trypophobia. I posted a video about it....shudders.
  • Trypophobia (fear of clusters or holes)---google it and then look at the images:sick: ....I shudder just thinking about it. I saw a documentary of this kind of frog when I was younger and have been bothered by trypophobia since. Here is a clip I found of it . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aCayq56wHSA
  • Still trying to figure this out. If I eat 1410 a day + exercise calories to lose .5 lb a week and my BMR according to MFP is 1229 wouldn't I be maintaining my weight if I ate BMR x 2? And what if I am at maintenance for 1540 calories a day and still feel deprived of food? Would I still eat BMR x 2 and just workout more?…
  • Well, I meant I am happy with my weight loss success---so far. I still have a few more pounds I want to lose and I want to tone up some as well. I am happy that I am in the best shape I have been in a long time but I have stalled. I still want to lose more and I don't know how to go about it since I stalled. So, I was…
  • Also one more question---do you rest on spike days or do you still workout?
  • Lean Circuit 2---last week of Lean. I think Lean 2 makes me the most sore out of the Lean Circuits. This circuit has a ton of shoulder work! I wish I had taken measurements or pictures before, but sadly I didn't. However, I know my body has changed---for the better obviously because I need smaller clothes now:love: . So, I…
  • bump because I want to know also:smile: .
  • Last week of lean. I did Lean circuit 1 today. I still haven't decided what to do when I finish---6 week 6 pack OR Ripped in 30 OR do another round of ChaLean:huh: ...
  • I have a question...how do you know how many calories to consume on a spike day? Is it just anything over your normal calorie deficit OR is it TDEE x 2 OR BMR x 2? What is a general rule on how many?
  • bump. I am curious too. Also is it ok to have a whole cheat day---or is it supposed to be a cheat meal? Also if it is a cheat day, can you just eat whatever, whenever? I am afraid I will binge and gain... and 1 more question---do you workout on your spike day?
  • Lean circuit 3---week 3 today. Only 1 more week of Lean then I might start Jillian Michaels Ripped in 30 OR 6 week 6 pack...I can't decide which:huh: ...
  • Now question....do you all log your 'spike' days or would you rather not know. I feel guilty when I log it because I see how much I went over. I am wondering if I would feel better not logging because then I wouldn't know...
  • I totally hate to admit this but until I was in 10th grade I always thought Alaska was an island. In elementary and middle school I always saw maps like this with Alaska down in the bottom like an island... It wasn't until 10th grade until I saw a map like this and I realized that Alaska is not an island...
  • I am 5'1, 30 years old, and my current weight is 125 lbs. I am hoping to get to 118-120 lbs. I am not so focused on a particular number but I am going more by my appearance. I also want to tone up some too.
  • I am 5'1 and 125 lbs. I want to be around 118-120 lbs. Although, I am going more by my appearance than a number. I want to tone up some more as well:smile: .
  • No it will not hurt your chances of losing weight, as long as you stay under your calorie goal. I have 1 skinny cow ice cream sandwich OR a weight watchers bar every day. I have a major sweet tooth as well and my treat ALWAYS involves chocolate:love: .
