Amazing!

Was finally brave enough to try on my double skinny jeans (the cut and the size) and they were too big!!!! I had to go down another size! to a 6! Went out and had so many compliments on how good I look- felt great!

Welcome! I also have a baby and am needed to lose that weight (I just reached that goal!), plus some I needed to lose before I got preggo.

I have lost ALL of my weight with diet only. I had major spine surgery a couple of years ago and could not bend, twist or lift for 6 weeks and then I was severely restricted. I knew I had to lose weight and wasn't able to do much of anything (and if I did, my pain would be so bad that I would be laid up for days) so I cut…

I've got coupons for organic foods, meats and dairy. Granted they aren't as common as the junk food ones; but that doesn't mean they don't exist. I don't even cut coupons for junk food, that way I'm not tempted to buy it. I save the most money with coupons on household & personal items- we all (or most of us) use toilet…

I delete people like that, makes my head hurt trying to figure out what in the hell they are trying to say. Bad spelling and grammar are rampant on Facebook, but some just kill it. Some of my misspelled favorites are: awsome (awesome) collage (college) Nefew (Nephew) licence (license) sponcered (sponsored) I also hate when…

Hehehee..... I think we have the same 'friend'. I've got a couple of them that drive me crazy. They need to get another job if they hate theirs so much. Annoying

Huge respect for all of you working parents that juggle both. I tried working (and just for 2 days a week, 4 hours a day) and it was just too much. I worked until the first one was 18 months, got laid off and found out we were expecting another. After panicking on what to do, my husband picked up a new contract that almost…

I don't think so, they just show up more because the skin isn't as stretched. I thought I had escaped my 2nd pregnancy with no new stretch marks, to only discover after the baby was born, that there were many more. They do lighten and fade, but always there. I've just accepted it. Even men have stretch marks from normal…

I stay at home and have 3 kiddos. I do all the cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping etc. I also do the bills, but we decided that because I'm a very OCD/ mathematical person, not to mention when he did the checkbook, it never ever got balanced. He does all the cooking, he likes to cook, I don't, so it works. Plus he thinks…

Oh and my most recent one was born at 38 weeks and 2 days, he was 8 lbs. 9 oz., 21.75" long. Second one I gained 45 and she was 8 lbs 13 oz and term. First one I gained 40 lbs. and she was born at 37 weeks and 2 days and was 7 lbs. 9 oz..

I personally prefer tap water temperature, as I am able to drink more. I make sure to drink my big cup full 3 times a day and that's 9+ glasses (usually I drink closer to 11 or 12). I always have water with me, whether I grab a water bottle or two when I go run errands or my cup at home. I NEVER drank water before my most…

I'm like you, 5'10" and gained 50 lbs, 205 when I delivered. Everyone kept saying how I was skinny pregnant woman.... I felt like a beached whale!

That's what I did a week and a half ago, but I had eaten even more than that recommended and still lost Not sure if it was just a plateau or not.
-
Wow, I can definitely see it. Great Job!
-
I commented on this on Monday when it was posted, because I was in the same spot, on a plateau. I had tried getting even stricter with myself and making sure to measure every little piece of food, logging obsessively and etc. On Monday I kept reading over and over people saying eat more on these topics. I upped my calories…

I'm told nursing burns 500 calories a day, so I would eat 1,700 calories at the minimum (I wouldn't doubt it if you couldn't find nursing under exercise and log it, so it shows the calories burned). I just upped my calories from 1,200 to 1,580 (I don't nurse) because I had hit a plateau and the scale has started moving…

I log throughout the day. I do this so I don't forget and I know if I'm getting too many calories for the day. Now if I know the food I'm eating (ie. one of my usuals) then I can wait longer if I need to. If I go out to eat, I log before I even order the food, so I know my calories beforehand. That also tells me if I…

Bahahaha..... I'm thinking the I'm married part that scares them off.... on second thought, it's probably the 3 kids (they scare me too). But seriously, I do brag to my husband when I get hit on, a rare event indeed. LOL

Wish I could help you, but I'm in the same spot fighting 3 pounds over the last couple of weeks. I was losing at a good rate, and now it's just stalled.

I'm 3 months out (as of 2 days ago) from a baby boy. I gained 50 lbs., did the same thing with the last baby too. I was 5 lbs. heavier than I would have liked upon conceiving. At m 6 week postpartum visit, I was down 13 lbs from delivery. I've lost 19 since then and I have 18 more pounds to hit my conceiving weight and 23…

It is very interesting how we all wear such varied sizes at similar heights and weight. I was in a 4 or 6 before becoming pregnant and that was at 155lbs and 5'9". I think the lowest weight for me would be 140, any less I have no curves and am too skinny. I was 120 in high school (and of course thought I was fat) but was…

Oops, my math isn't working today, gained back 7 lbs. during the 2-6 week postpartum period.

I'm 5'9" and my goal is 150 lbs. I just had a baby boy 5.5 weeks ago and am ready to get back on track. Gained 50 lbs in my pregnancy, went from 155 to 205. Initially lost 23 lbs after having him, but I'm up 9 of those lbs over the last 4 weeks. So, I'm at 189 now. Most of my height is in my legs, which makes it very hard…

This is what I am doing to and have lost 20 lbs in 3 months. I'm not looking to lose extremely fast by depriving myself, because I will just gain it all back. I also know me and if I feel way deprived, I will give up and go back to eating whatever. I am aiming for healthy weight loss. I eat a normal dinner every night,…
