Just Finished Week 4 of Eating More and Lost 1 pound!
As the title says, I just finished week 4 of eating more calories and saw a 1 pound loss this week. Let me start by saying I lost all of my weight (52 pounds) by starving myself at 1,200 calories a day. I did the whole 'zig zag' method and didn't log weekends, thinking I was 'tricking' my metabolism into not getting stuck.…

Weight loss journey, with pictures

I was in a really bad wreck with an 18 wheeler when my 2nd child was 2 weeks. I gained quite a bit of weight during that time (4.5 years of…

Baby weight...
I'm venting here,... I am so sick of people implying that because I had a baby 6 months ago, that that's why I've lost weight. I get the "oh the weight just melts off after pregnancy" comments all the time. Ummm, no it doesn't. Last time I checked there were millions of women claiming they are overweight from pregnancy,…

MFP Acitivity Level Categories
I'm just curious if MFP tends to under or overestimate how much each lifestyle burns. I have mine set at lightly active. I don't hold a 'formal job' at least not one that pays me! I'm a stay at home mom to 3, 4 months (not breastfeeding- so no extra calories burned there), 5 and 8 years. When reading the descriptions, I…
