Up at 5:30...first time for coffee and watching some news and then about an hour of cardio & weights. Usually done by 7:30am. Love having the rest of the day to do other stuff. Rarely in bed after 10pm.

When I first read non-stick ...I was thinking what does Teflon have to do with MFP. My bad. Anyhow I'm 6 ft sw 238 cw 224 gw 180 or somewhere there abouts. I've got HUGE bones. My hubbies watch doesn't even fit my wrist! I'm not going to see this as a negative thing anymore. I've got these huge bones for my muscles to…

Theoretically you have to either exercise or not eat 3500 calories to lose one pound. And you did that this week. Way to go! (I do get it, though. I think I'm way harder on myself than I am on others.) Don't stop now - you are doing this for YOU!

Sorry I didn't see your post sooner. Just know you can do it! And as hard as it may seem at first...it does get easier. Someday's you'll want to quit, but push on, and it'll get easier. Good luck and hopefully you've made a good start on your journey. Feel free to add me if you like.

There are certain foods that if I have them in the house I'm going to eat them. So I try not to and make sure I have alternative snacking foods. I really like carrots with humus. It's practically guilt free and I think it's very tasty. Don't get down on your self, just get up and go again. Good luck

Definitely rule 1 and if I forget rule 1 then drink LOTS of water before you go to bed and have mcdonald's cheeseburger the next day. the fat and carb overload seem to help me A LOT.

Thank you for sharing. Don't give up. If you eat healthy and exercise, you will lose weight. This is something that you are doing for you. Remember that and don't let the doubters and the negativity get to you. It says more about them than it does about you. The importance of one's weight for any number of reasons other…

I try to log everything, although I 'm sure that at the end of the day I might forget something. If I'm not sure how to log something, I'll generally err on the side of caution and log it much higher than it probably is.

Same here. I find it to be a very uncomfortable topic to talk about. And I do usually try to use improvisation or change the subject to other subject matter. I'm not sure why it bothers me so much. It bothered me before when I was thin as well - whether it was a positive or negative comment. Maybe it's because it amazes me…
