I drain two cans of Progresso soup and put them in a 2 cup container. 400 calories and fills me up!

I will usually do a nice run the morning before I plan on having more than one or two. Other than that, I fit a couple in every now and again. I have a kegerator at the house and I don't hit it too hard. Takes will power but losing wieght and getting fit feels awesome!

I generally find that only 2% of the people at most 5Ks are actually competetive runners and most people are just women in their 30s having a good time. Have fun and meet some people!

I hear it all the time...especially as a military guy. Just keep doing what you do. If I do slip, just usually throw in an extra mile in the next day's run. Keep it up!!

Ok...so I am not the only one. I don't do it too often. I usually drink Yuengling which tastes great and is 128 cals a bottle. I have found that sweet mixed drinks just don't seem to be worth the calories. I drank a half-gallon of Bacardi Zombie last New Years and that calulated out to over 3000 calories! Won't be doing…

I am not a female but I have a very good friend with PCOS. She found if about ever other week she did a pig out Sunday while keeping her calories around 1300-1400 the other 13 days that would break her plateau..

Most folks won't come to your races because they don't understand how inportant it is to you and they never will. My wife does not come to mine LOL. She thinks it is dumb to pay money for something I can do for free.

Like Dave said take it easyat first and don't overdo it right away. There is a difference between a nice hard run and killing your body. I am great at starting something again and starting too hard. All it does is make you hurt!
