I love that you're totally open to this awesome idea! Personally I use a BodyMedia Fit so I know exactly how many calories I'm burning in a 24 hour period. I aim for a 300-600 calorie deficit per day (although I find I lose faster with a smaller deficit believe it or not!)....so what that equates to is that I average 2300…

Honestly hun you really do need to eat more. I'm eating an average of 2300 cals/day....I run and lift heavy weights...and I'm losing an average of a pound a week. We really do need to fuel our bodies and teach them that they don't have to hold onto every pound of fat. Some easy ways to get up the cals are natural peanut…

Great idea!

I believe the whole idea is that more isn't always better:bigsmile:

I looooove my protein shakes so I have one (or two) every day!

Wow you look amazing!!!

They're magic!!! LOL I wish I'd had one years ago!! Worth every single penny. I'm never hungry and have loads of energy! Nobody needs to starve to get fit.

Well I use a BodyMedia Fit so I don't technically count exercise calories but I am eating an average of 2400 calories a day (sometimes more sometimes less but not by much...never lower than 2200 cals a day and sometimes as much as 2800 on my long run days). I aim for a 500 cal a day deficit and I'm losing at a rate of 1.2…

I don't know Jamie's program but I've been doing NR and training for a half...but I also still have 35 lbs to lose and my half isn't until October. I just do NR twice a week and it's been fine for my purposes. I do plan to cut out any heavy lifting for about 12 wks prior to my half.

I use a BMF to track my calories burned. I average 2400 cals burned on rest days, 2900 cals burned when I do lifting followed by 20 min of cardio and 3400 on my long run days. I aim for a ~500 calorie deficit per day so I AVERAGE eating 2400 calories per day (I get 200 extra cals/day for breastfeeding so really it's more…

Mine is open to friends...not sure if it's open to the public...my reasoning is that I want women to know that you do not have to eat <1200 cals a day to lose weight. I think so many women fall off the wagon from starving themselves...I want them to see you can eat 2000+ calories a day and still lose weight! And FWIW I've…

Actually I guess I'm not totally afraid of carbs...just of having too many. I eat loads of fruit and do eat some heavier carbs such as wraps, rice, potatoes, pasta, etc...and of course I eat nutella by the boatloads....but I'm always still very careful of keeping them at 35-40% of my daily intake.

Iz scared of carbs!! :blushing:

So fantastic!!! Eating more rules!!!!!!!!!

I'm not sure about the time difference...maybe 2 months??...I've only been on mfp for 3 mths so certainly less than that:tongue: I did not read the food section in depth...I use a BodyMedia Fit so I know exactly how many cals I'm burning in a day. So, I eat whatever I've burned by 7pm which generally gives me about a ~550…

At 5'4" weighing 135 lbs I'd say that's nowhere near anorexic!! Holly eats a lot of food to nourish that stunningly gorgeous bod!!! Great work Holly! You're totally my MFP hero!!

I would def suggest eating more clean food...if it comes in a bag or package or you don't have to get out of your car to grab it (ie...drive through take out) then don't eat it. If you eat more fresh veggies, protein and fibre you'll also get to eat MORE. You hit your calorie goal with very little food so you're probably…
-
Here are my suggestions: -set your goal to 1 lb loss/wk MAX....maybe even go to 1/2 lb/wk (I do not think you are eating too many cals AT ALL) -you need MORE protein! Try to get 30% protein/30% fat/40% carbs (if you have the iPhone app this is easy to track on the pie chart they use for the macros) -start lifting weights…
