Nobody EVER got fat eating 1800-2200 cals per day...ever. You should NET at least 1600 cals per day and make sure you log ALL exercise and eat back at least most of those cals. I agree...having a goal really helps me! What I had to do was reset my ticker. Initially I had the ticker that showed how much I had lost already...and that let me be complacent b/c I kept justifying that 'well I've already lost 30 lbs'...I've now reset to how many pounds I want to lose. It totally helped refocus me!

I was taught to heel strike when I was learning to run so I'm transitioning my foot strike in addition to moving toward barefoot running.
