I'm trying to get into Greek yogurt because of the protein. I really like the taste of the Chobani Apple Cinnamon, but my problem is the smell of yogurt. I can tolerate the taste, but the smell s horrible. Anyone else feel this way?

You didn't gain 4 pounds of fat over a weekend. You gained water because you switched your diet . Anytime you switch your diet, ths will happen. I'm 5'1 and currently 112 lbs. My original goal weight was 105-110, but I'm tired of dieting, so I'm now concentrating on muscle gain. My new goal is 110 to 120.

I agree with Joni. Do lot's of day hikes. Also just doing any king of endurance cardio helps a lot. Also, if you buy new boots, buy them at least a month ahead of time and wear them out a lot before the trip. I did a 5 day trip through the grand canyon last year with new boots and they were so bad I lost both my big toe…

Thanks, beef stew is a great idea. I know it's only 2 days, but I would prefer not to eat sandwiches and pop tarts all day like I would normally do.

Mine is set to 50/25/25 (carb/fat/protein), but I try to aim for 30% protein. My goal is to gain muscle.

I am not a morning person at all. What helped me was putting my alarm clock downstairs, so when it goes off I have to get up and walk all the way downstairs to turn it off. For me it's Splenda. I use to think it had no calories, because that's how it's advertised. But if something has less than 5 calories, it can be labeled no calorie. It actually has 3.3 calories a packet. It's not a big deal if you only have one or two packets, but I would put 20 in my 20 oz coffee. That's 66 calories and…

It's possible. It's called skinny fat. I would eat at maintenance, lift heavy and do some high intensity interval training.

When I backpack my pack usually weighs at least 40 pounds. I would use the average of walking 3.5 and backpacking.

1450 is my maintenance calories w/o exercise. I burn anywhere between 200-500 calories an hour depending on the type of workout, do I would eat back those calories. The zig zag sounds like a good idea. Where could I get my body fat measured?

Thanks for the replies. With the P90x I just plan on doing the Legs/Back and Arms/Shoulders. I'm going to lift as heavy as I can and try to fail at 8 reps. Also, instead of the Chalean, I'm going to do 2 days of lifting heavy weights. I'm not worried about bulking up. How much protein should I shoot for?

I love working out in the morning (even though I'm not a morning person at ll). But I burn slightly less calories in the morning than the evening. I think it's because I'm still so tired and my heart rate takes more time to raise.
