  • What bunk! if you are moving, you are burning calories! As long as your calories burned are less than what you ate, you will eventually loose weight. You don't need to lift weights to get strength training in! Pilates & yoga use your body weight as the "weight" you are lifting & holding. Don't be discouraged, be educated…
  • I use the following quick conversion: 1 cup = 250 ml. 1 pint = 2 cups = 500 ml (think pint of beer) 1 quart = 2 pints = 4 cups = 1000 ml. (think bag of milk) To be exact, it is something like 241 ml / 1 cup, but for all my baking adventures, this quick calculation has never steered me wrong.
  • I feel your frustration! I am no expert, but one thing that helped me was buying a digital scale that gave more information than just my weight. It tells me what % of fat & muscle I have. This info for me is helpful as my lbs stay the same, but my fat % is going down and my muscle % is going up. I am slimmer than before…
