For me, if I don't log everything I eat and all my excercise I don't even realize that I ate 500 more calories and I think I done great for the day but I really didn't. I think if you track everything you will realize the extra things you have ate and start losing. Hopefully this will help. Good luck! It's hard for us all.

My doctor also suggested chewing gum before and after meals. He said it almost tricks the mind into thinking you are eating when you are not.

It is really hard the first month. It will get better tho.I drink lots of water which will make you less hungry because your belly has less room in it. I eat protein and fruits and veggies which have less calories and the protien fills me up more. I peice on stuff all day. I grab an apple in the morning and work as I eat…

I agree. If you do not have atleast 1200 calories a day you will not get all the nutrition value you need and your body kicks into starvation mode. Try more fruits and veggies, but keep up on the 1200 a day. Good luck and great job so far.

I am somewhat new on here as well. I started out at 230 a year ago. I am at 178.5 now. It has been very hard to shed the lbs. I have diabetes and that makes it harder. I started on here about a month ago, but with all these darn holiday parties I havent been on here or watched what I have been eating. Shame on me!! :( Good…
