I can't wait for the nausea and fatigue to stop! This is number three for me and the last two were smooth sailing pregnancies. I am a few days shy of 12 weeks and I hope it is true that the honey moon period starts in the second trimester. My poor husband has been cooking, cleaning, and taking care of our boys since I am…

This is number three with me too and I am not feeling the glowy lovey feelings that I had felt with my first two. Partly I think it is because I feel as if I just got to know my new healthy body and now the baby has taken over and I don't know what is going on! lol. Also I am feeling way more tired and nauseated with this…

This! I completely agree with you 100% I can't believe how many people are taking this so personally. Also I can't believe how people can't acknowledge that culture does play a factor in the way we go about our lives! Yes in the end you are ultimately responsible for you but the way you were raised and the society you were…

It's a motivator for me and as long as the number it shows is less the the weight I am at now then I don't stress. It has helped me in the beginning when I was having cheat meals that turned into cheat days. I would log everything and seeing the predicted number being above what I was at was a great motivator to not cheat!

It took me almost a full three months to loose 15 pounds. I find that I average about five pounds a month. In the beginning it can be frustrating because it seems like it is taking forever. But I have been doing this since January and have lost nearly 40 pounds now! Keep it up because all those little numbers will soon add…

I have always been overweight but what really made me change is getting on the scale about a month before my 29th birthday and seeing that I was the biggest I have ever been! Everyone was telling me that it is all down hill after you hit your 30s and I decided that I wanted to enter my 30s being in the best shape that I…

[/quote] Different kind of cheese and gravy, but hell, I'd like some chili-cheese fries too. We sometimes make a ridiculous meal we call tot-chos. Sweet potato tots topped with chorizo, queso, sour cream, and jalapeno. Glad I'm not on a diet so I can eat this kind of stuff ;) I feel like these posts are very cruel given…

I love running with my dog. He is a 15 pound terrier mix. When we rescued him he was scrawny where you could see his ribs poking out. Now he is a lean mean running machine! We go in the morning since it is cooler and if I don't get up when the alarm goes on he will come in and make me get up. I made my own version of a…

All or nothing used to be my mentality until I started logging my all days and realized just how much I was eating over! I'm talking easily eating over 1500 calories in one day! Now if I go over a little and don't have time to squeeze in an extra workout, I tell myself that I would rather be over 100 calories then 1500.

I got a side salad with my grilled chicken sandwich instead of fries today! I also ate the salad before the sandwich too.

I have a coworker who will comment on what I eat since I have been eating healthier lately. A few days ago she asked if I wanted to get takeout food for lunch and I said no thanks. She then gets a snide look on her face and says "oh that's right your watching what you eat now" It wasn't the words that she said but the way…

I read this in a little kids voice and now I'm laughing my head off at work. lol

Do you still wear the same clothes you did when you started out? I have lost about 25 pounds and every now and then need to wear one of my older outfits because I don't have enough money to replace my wardrobe and I still can't fit into all my skinnier clothes. When I wear my older loose outfits I notice I look bigger then…

I get up at 5:45 A.M. and I am out the door running by 6. My motivation is my dog. I trained him to run with me and now he MAKES me run! Most mornings he is up and waiting by the door for me. If I am having an off day then he will jump up onto the bed and bug me until I get up.
