Instead of BMR, I would calculate your TDEE - you can find calculators online Then eat a 15-20% deficit MFP tends to overestimate burned calories so I would eat back 50-75% of your exercise calories

It's such a stupid gender expectation that people never seem to question - men must be taller than women - whaa? why? there is no good reason for it. Height is never a factor in dating decisions. I've dated shorter, the same height and taller. And I will always rock my heels

I buy bags of beans, lentils, chickpeas, rice, pasta etc - usually $1-something per bag I buy whatever fruits & veggies are on sale A block of tofu is $1.15 at my grocery store I read the sale flyers and look for coupons I spend about $40/month on…

What I am trying to get at is this: I assume with your height and weight that you do not have a lot of body fat or muscle. I am about the same height and was the same weight before I started bulking. I assume you want some muscle definition and low body fat. You already have the low body fat but you need some muscle. To…

By toned do you mean you want to see some muscle definition in your legs?

What's your body like right now? Thin without muscle definition?

My department is 5 desks sitting together in a room. I wish I had a cubicle so it would be easier to ignore my coworkers and play on the internet :drinker:

If you can't do the simple research work - Jo actually made it really easy for you - I doubt you have the drive to do the work in the gym.

As already said, If you want to lose fat you have to eat a calorie deficit. Lift to retain muscle and increase strength.

My parents sleep in separate beds because my dad is a major snorer and my mom has chronic pain in her shoulder and back and needs lots of room and a good sleep. They seem to be happily married. This is not a general yes or no question as all couples are unique - different strokes for different folks!

These women at my work go on all these ridiculous and restrictive diets and I'm like you know you just have to eat a calorie deficit and you can easily log your calories online... the response "that sounds like so much work"... ...

I lift heavy, compound exercises 3x a week with a rest day in between. That's when broken down muscles regenerate.
