You are correct, it just makes you sweat more water out. You might want to find a new trainer.

There is no reason you should have to eat foods that make you feel ill if there are alternatives. You can get everything you need from plants. Keep experimenting. Tempeh, seitan, tofu, quinoa, seeds, green veggies, brown rice, buckwheat, oats, avocado...

There are different types of proteins found in food. You can get enough essential amino acids from plant sources: whole grains, spinach, broccoli, green beans, soy, seeds, chickpeas, etc. If those foods don't bother you, stick with them.

I only read real books. I stare at a computer screen all day at work, I don't want to stare at a computer screen to read novels too. Plus I love adding to my bookshelves, I would love every wall in my apartment to be covered in bookshelves. And that book smell mmm! My sister reads everything on her kobo and always has…

I like to roast green beans & carrots w/ a bit of olive oil and za'atar. Steamed broccoli is my lazy go-to choice. Raw veggies w/ hummus - usually cucumbers and bell peppers.

what do you do on your lunch break? I walk around the neighbourhood on my break. You could walk, go for a run, hit up a gym...

high sodium = water weight that's probably what happened when you increased your intake, you increased your sodium, and your body held on to more water
-
this is a bit conservative, your TDEE is probably closer to 1830
-
When I calculated yours w/ exercise 3x a week (you're doing 3-4) I got: Your BMR is: 1290 Calories/Day Your TDEE is: 1774 Calories/Day 15% off: 1507.9 20% off: 1419.2 If you gained weight when you were trying 1500 calories you were eating more than 1500 calories and weren't measuring correctly. Do you weigh your food?
-
Accurately calculating your energy expended is important. You need to add exercise/activity cause that increases the calories your body is burning. MFP uses BMR but I recommended using TDEE to figure out the calories you should be consuming. BMR (basal metabolic rate) calculates the amount of calories your body is burning…

After reading some responses... are you supposed to maintain the same weight for all 5 sets? I was taught to increase each set by 5lbs to reach my max on my 5th set. For example if week 1 my squat max is 100lbs, I would do 1 set of 80lbs, 1 set of 85lbs, 1 set of 90lbs, 1 set of 95lbs, 1 set of 100lbs. Then if week 2 my…

Until your body fat is down to where you want it to be you won't know how much loose skin is there. Exercise won't affect your skin but working on strengthening your abdominal wall might help your tummy to appear firmer. Some women just have to deal with having a post-pregnancy pooch - but you brought children into the…
