It took me 5-6 weeks. Note that that was from a starting weight of 292 and a BMI of 43%.

To make it even more confusing, in most places it's a codes violation to use it on ducts. :)

^ This is me. I love ice cream, but I'd rather have none than a little bit.

He buttoned his shirt back up.

This is my 1-year shot. I'm about 5 pounds less now, but haven't done a new photo yet.

True. My right index finger was broken by a wiffle bat when I was about 15. The next person pees in the shower.

I'm cold all the time too, and I'm wearing my wedding ring on a necklace at the moment because it just falls off my finger.

In elementary school, when they taught us about the "Underground Railroad", my teacher was very clear that it wasn't an actual railroad. Many of the stories were of escaping slaves hiding out in people's basements. She never said that it wasn't actually underground! I was an adult before it hit me that there wasn't really…

Even your camera got smaller! ;)

Great post. Thank you.

Are you measuring "results" only by the scale? Make sure you're taking measurements as well, ESPECIALLY if you're doing strength training.

Absolutely. I have a pair of shoes that used to be a little too big. -90 pounds later, I can't even wear them; they all but fall off.

Love this. Thanks for the laugh!

When I work out at home, I just do it in my runderwear.

I use a Nikon D90. Attachments: I have an extra battery grip, a few speedlite flashes (though only one can "attach" at a time), and a GPS to geotag the photos. Saving up for a D800, but I'm only about 20% of the way there.

I weigh mine, and for Barilla Plus, the 2 ounces becomes about 5.5 ounces. I used to do start weight and cooked weight for the whole pot and divide it out, etc. but it was consistent enough that I just go with 5.5 ounces cooked now as a serving.

This is one of my favorites. I have a crop somewhere with the traffic signals removed, but I can't find it at the moment. BFB01

I have a small refrigerator in my office, so I have more options than some. I usually keep greek yogurt and various fruits and vegetables in there. Currently, there is some Black Cheery Chobani, baby carrots, almond milk, and a few bottles of water. I also keep a stash of Clif bars in my office, which is the kind of thing…

Great post. I think that deep down, everybody knows this is true, but people want the easy way out. I love when people see me and how I've changed and ask how I did it. I have fun with it and usually give a response something like this: "I've tried countless diets in the past and always ran into one of two problems: either…

@seafuss - The current one with the birds. Looks like you're having a lot of fun.

This thread entertains me. Please, continue. :)

I always HATED running. I don't think I had ever run more than about a minute in my life. I started C25k almost a year ago at just under 270 pounds. I won't lie. It was hard, but I pushed through and did it. Since completing it last March, I run at least 5k 2-3 times per week. Sometimes longer, sometimes more often. I ran…

A little over 4 pounds and half an inch off my waist.

Most days I get zero calories from beverages. I occasionally have alcohol, and I sometimes have a protein shake, but that's intentional, and I don't really consider it a "drink", at least not in the same sense.
