One bad thing too about people just telling you "you look fine" is don't realize how much weight you've gained. i felt the same when i looked at my pictures back when i was 175 -- i can't believe people were telling me i looked okay. now i have come to realize i should trust the scale and tape measure more than their words.

I am Asian and my husband is from NJ. We went to Georgia one time and they all knew he was from NJ. doesn't this site tell you that if you eat way under your calorie allowance for the day it would slow down your metabolism, cause your system will go into starvation mode if you consume too few calories. i think eating back at least half of your exercise calorie would be a good idea.

I just started drinking tea this week instead of coffee because 1- i don't have to use sugar, 2- i don't have to use creamer 3-study shows that people who drink a cup of green tea a day lose about 2 pounds a year. not that much, but in the long run, it's better for us. saves us calories!
