Congrats! You look incredible!!!

Fixed it. Though... it's still very rambly... just from the end... It is not safe to lose 3-4 lb per week. You will not be able to sustain that and you will hurt yourself in the long run. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1080242-a-guide-to-get-you-started-on-your-path-to-sexypants

Thank you. That was my intent. And it has also been noted that I fully did not understand the movement. That's what a message board is for. Discussion about topics. I now have a better understanding about it.

I did not understand the movement. It felt like it was embracing obesity, but it has been clarified (above) that that is not all what is behind it. I'm not up on a high horse really. I've clearly admitted that I am not myself a normal weight. When I first saw it, it seemed to embrace being extremely overweight and just…

I have a rather warped perspective I should admit. In my adult life I have never been a "normal" weight and I've felt like a failure for it. I did not fully understand her movement, but it seemed to encourage not caring about being overweight. I apologize for not understanding fully. I couldn't really find anything about…

I would also like to know how you can be obese and healthy...

It is true that you are the only one who will change yourself. At my highest weight I was 263 and just absolutely hated myself. But if someone convinced me that it was acceptable to be that way I might have never convinced myself that I needed to change. I'm still technically quite obese and a size 16. I'm not ashamed, but…

...you can tell Facebook to block all posts from that person and still remain friends with them. Problem solved. Some people just like to share all day long and see what their friends lives are like since they don't see them that much. ::raises hand in the air:: Facebook is for socializing. You can block pretty much…

Sometimes I really wonder if people on here ever listened in health/nutrition class in school. :noway: Your body needs "good" fats to function. Just because you need to hit your calorie goals to lose weight - does not mean you should deprive yourself of essential macro nutrients. To each their own, but my body feels better…

My dad did the same thing and lost an incredible amount of weight too - he was in the mid 300s (6'3"). He even wanted to start marketing the plan, but I talked him out of it because I didn't see it as sustainable. He believed in the hunter/gatherer one meal mindset and lived by it for months. He called it the "Caveman…

I use a note-taking app on my phone. I probably look like I'm texting, but meh. At least I can keep track of what I did/want to do. Don't let it get in your head. Carry a notebook or use your phone. Benefit yourself. Not your outward appearance to others.

At least with chocolate milk they are getting calcium. What are they drinking if they don't drink chocolate milk -- sugary juice? I don't ever see the point in getting rid of chocolate milk. As a kid that was my favorite part of lunch. And I wasn't an obese kid. If a kid is obese, a box of chocolate milk at lunch is not…

In early 2011 I was down to 198 - which was over 20 pounds lost, then slowly it started creeping back on (life, wedding planning, post-wedding weight gain, stress) and before I knew it - I had gained that and much more. My heart shattered the day I saw 263 on the scale. Sad to think that I am still over 30 pounds from that…

Accurate calorie counts lead to success. And unfortunately as time consuming as it is - if you want accuracy, you gotta calculate each of those salad ingredients. I've been using MFP - rather religiously (except for the winter, winter was bad) for almost a year. Success comes from accurate logs and I'm tired of it, but I…

25 (almost 26, but I refuse to believe that) - Add me if you would like :) I'm very active and supportive.

Everyone is just trying to find a solution to a problem. Why is one way better than another? If it works for them -- good for them! I've never been a "clean" eater, but I would never call myself a dirty eater... that sounds gross. I'm going to try a clean diet, just to see what it is all about. If I don't like it... no one…

My husband was stunned when I told him his sandwich, which I think was a double quarter pounder with cheese or something -- had more calories than a Big Mac (which I used to enjoy and still do on very rare occasions...). -- 550 cals in it is not that bad since I don't drink Cokes or eat fries... literally just the sandwich…

I have a Fit Bit Flex! Add me! ...I don't know how I find out my username though or how to add people... I only recently got my Fit Bit Flex. I'm hooked! Especially love the sleep tracking.

Yes! :drinker: To you! Absolutely a snake oil salesman. I see the stuff all over Facebook and laugh at it. But, sadly, my mom is vulnerable to stuff like that and she religiously takes her raspberry ketones. I tell her she is wasting her money and that they aren't doing anything, but she insists that there is "research"…

This girl has a public profile and some serious issues. Help from a professional is all that can be recommended. OP: I hope you get to where you need to, with whatever help may or may not be needed. I've fought my own battles and come out on the other side. I wish the same for you, dear. :flowerforyou:

I appreciate it from bikers that zoom by - but if it's just me and another runner on the path it seems a little silly when there is so much space for both of us to maneuver. In a crowded race, it is appreciated. Also loveeee that movie and I too have been looking for this GIF. :drinker:

I feel like they are incredibly judge-y for being judgement free. I'm a little nervous at LA Fitness, as I am not the most fit and I'm pretty shy. But I would rather pay $29.99/month there and not be in their little exclusionary world of fitness ala Planet Fitness for $10/month. Anyone and everyone who joins a gym should…

I like my Polar FT4 HRM. It's very basic, but it's nice to know how much I'm burning and where my heart rate is, so that I don't let it go out of control. I think it was around $60 when I got it last July. I love it. It doesn't sync to a phone, but it gets the job done.

First thing, do not trust any Starbucks entries! I've seen the craziest numbers out of those. Create your own personal item in MFP using the Starbucks website. Personally I have to get a specific drink because whole milk makes me ill. So I'm a skinny grande mocha girl and I dabble in venti green tea with half sweetener…

Those are great songs! Thank you :)

Yep yep. I also have sports/exercise induced asthma and a runny nose. Since I started actually taking my allergy pills like I am supposed to be doing, the runniness is less. But I still have to wipe my nose a lot - especially on outside/cold runs. If someone has found a solution I would love to hear it, it's a gross effect.

I'm open to most genres as long as it has a good beat that keeps me going. Currently I have a 90 minute mix of various Britney Spears songs (they are getting old), but also a mix made up of indie, rock, pop, rap. I like variety.

I have no idea :( Jenna is so amazing! It claims she went off her raw/vegan diet and got fat. Psh. I would kill to look like Jenna. That girl is gorgeous and I can't believe someone would hate on her.
