  • CW: 173.0 GW: 168.0 Weigh in dates: 11/1: 173.0 11/8: 173.0 (0 lost/gain, however had a "pass" day on tuesday, so I'm recovering from that lol). 11/15: 172.0 (-1) 11/22: A goal NSV (None Scale Victory): Work out with my HRM 4 times a week with at least 600 calories burned, and an additional 2 days of lighter workouts…
  • Awwwwww this is great  I'm sure your mom is really proud of you! Keep up the awesome work!
  • I actually have a box of these sitting on my bookshelf. Because sometimes I feel like I need a little something , but know if I make it to the kitchen in the middle of the night Ill splurge.
  • First off, I would like to say I knew before I clicked on this that this would be G rated  And yes... I self diagnosed myself with an Oral Fixation. And also a Ricky Bobby, "I don't know what to do with my hands". I've combined the two problems with ALWAYS have a liquid to drink with me. (I prefer hot, but normally…
  • You can eat whatever you want as long as you're moving while eating it :noway:
  • I love it just looking at it! lol thanks for posting!
  • I know I'm supposed to say "myself", but I can face the music, if there were NO other people on this planet I wouldn't give a rats you know what what I looked like. Though, I do lose weight to feel better about myself... but ultimately that stems from the very good looking people around me and my comparison to them. <-I…
  • Trying to remember what I felt like in the past. Everything from how self conscious I was (still am, but working on it) to after a binge, just wanting to cry myself to sleep because I let myself down so much. :flowerforyou:
  • I can tell you from experience that letting myself "enjoy" the day makes me feel awful the next day, and never worth it (for me at least, I'm more hard on myself than others). Now, I'm also not going to completely deprive myself. I'll enjoy the foods and wil be willing to l go over my limit by NO more than 400 calories. I…
  • And you can probably ask your sister to make a healthier version for you and others who are interested
  • What my ticker says :flowerforyou:
  • How long does it take to fix it? NO MORE TIME! You need to focus!!!!! You had your relaxing time, you had your fun, and (meanly enough) you've paid the price for it. So, use this as a weight loss lesson. I know you never want to feel this regret again, so DON'T :flowerforyou:
  • Working out will be helpful for sure! And the key is to enjoy the holiday, but not regret it! lol
  • Hey I'll bite with this! SW: about 300 (let's just say I avoided a scale like a plague lol) CW: 173 I have a "large frame" very wide hips (I doubt I'd ever be smaller than an 8, and im barely a 10 now) and shoulders. I'm hoping to be down another 13 pounds... but dang it's hard at this point! Would also like my chest…
  • And I had a realization today... I actually joined MFP the day after Thanksgiving last year. I remember stepping on the scale the next day and thinking, "Oh Lord, what have I done... If I keep up with this I'll be back to where I used to be (about 90 pounds heavier)." Then I downloaded the app, and didn't get on the…
  • Thank you all for the advice and input, makes me see that some people are in the same boat as I am, while others are on the shore sipping a beer without a care in the world  lol jk
  • Pretty much every word! Was in speech therapy for years... Lead me to not talk very much to anyone lol. I still have to remember to do my best even to this day with pronouncing words correctly, take things slowly, and not to be overly shy lol. Think I have to agree with the "spaghetti" being the cutest one lol.
  • Great work so far everyone! Keep it up! CW: 173.0 GW: 168.0 Weigh in dates: 11/1: 173.0 11/8: 173.0 (0 lost/gain, however had a "pass" day on tuesday, so I'm recovering from that lol). 11/15: 11/22: A goal NSV (None Scale Victory): Work out with my HRM 4 times a week with at least 600 calories burned, and an additional 2…
  • ^^^ I got the "too good/too perfect/ too much wife material" speech. Not once... but THREE times from THREE different men. WTH?! Is there a group that gets together once they start dating me, and that's what they discuss at their monthly meetings?! Would also like to report that all three came crawling back eventually…
  • I have the FT7, looked at both for a long time. And to be honest, I chose the ft7 because I liked the color options better (didn't look as kid like). It was about $10 more than the ft4, and I could've gone either way I suppose. If you're not concerned with color or actually uploading to the polar website I would go with…
  • ^^^ Awesome thought! Well put!
  • I'm sure it's hard for you to be told you should look to quit, when you still see "problem areas". Most likely your friends have never had the weight loss journey you've been through, so they don't know about the constant obsession that has most likely plagued you. Would love to tell you that you'll one day magically wake…
  • If you log in with your computer, it'll be easier to tell what's going on
  • ^ Think we should make you drink MORE water for even asking that!
  • If you get bored easily you may want to look into signing up for some fitness classes! If not, some people really like DVDs. A way I don't get as easily bored is to watch Netflix or tv while im working out. If I'm listening to music I can't do cardio for very long, I get super bored. And I would test the waters a little in…
  • I like air popped popcorn! I aid some kettle korn seasoning to it :) I also like to suck on hard candies too. Of course you have fruits and veggies too, but I like crunchy things while im studying lol. And of course, a lot of the time it's just an oral fixation deal, so I tend to always have my bottle of water next to me.…
  • I'm a senior! So I did the freshman 15, but then I took it off. Just got too comfortable in that lifestyle. Think a hard part with being a college student is trying to balacing your social and health lives. A lot of the time they don't intermingle. Or if you're like me and you're friends are all very good looking, and you…
  • First goal is Thanksgiving! Hoping to be down about another 5 pounds before then. And then I would really like another 8 after that! Though with such short time frames, you never know how likely that'll be lol  Thinking of the goals will help resist the amazing holiday goodies!
