I was 125 in high school, and would love to be that weight again! I would be happy for anything below 140 at this point, though. 170 now.

Me too! I'm exactly 50lbs away from my goal, and I'm going up, not down. :(

Yes! This holiday season has been baaaaad for me! Ever since Thanksgiving, I'm sad to say. I need to be ready for shorts/swimsuit weather, though, so it's on now!

I'm so sorry. :( I had a miscarriage earlier this year, and gained 15lbs due to depression from the experience. I'm still struggling, and still trying to get rid of that excess weight. It's so tough when you have a lot going on emotionally. Just know that you aren't alone. ❤️

I am in the same boat! I am up to 170 due to stress, and would like to get down to 125, as well. 15 of that have just been in the past year. :(

Protein, healthy fats, veggies, and tons of water. Avoid sugar and white breads, as they will make you extra hungry. Those protein bars have a lot of sugar. Oh, and get enough sleep! I'm always hungrier when I'm sleep-deprived.

My goal weight is 125! I'm 160 now. :( I haven't weighed 125 since high school, but looking back at pictures, it was a great weight for me, and right in the middle of the healthy BMI range for our height.

I do! I don't have a good solution, though. Eating lots of veggies helps to fill me up some. Exercising regularly helps a little bit, too, because I'm more motivated to eat healthy, so that I don't negate my workout. I still binge, though. Mostly on sweets.

Awesome job! Way to go!

When I had GD, my go-to breakfast was one slice of whole grain bread with peanut butter spread on it, and a glass of milk with a very small amount of chocolate syrup (just enough to give it a faint chocolate-y taste. My numbers always looked good after that meal. Good luck!

Nice job! You look great. :)

I would be interested in trying this. I think I would be a good test subject. Mild depression, not on meds, addicted to sugar. I'm not sure I will get through those first few days, but I will give it a try! Cutting out sugar can only help. :)

3 kids here! A 7 year old and 4 year old twins. It's really hard to fit in workouts for me. I love running outside so much, but I can't usually get to exercising until the kids are in bed, so I'm stuck running on the treadmill in the garage. I also lift weights twice a week with the hubby after the kids are in bed. It's…

Thanks so much everyone! This is all really good advice. I will try to plan out my meals ahead of time tomorrow. The picky kids are a whole other issue that do thwart my weight loss to an extent. It's hard to make them happy at meal time, while sticking to my goals. I need to do a better job of making them try new things ,…

Wow! Congrats!

Thanks so much for the ideas! I have 2 kids at home with me right now still, and my kids hate casseroles ( or anything where the ingredients are mixed! :( ) But you make some very good points on how I need to make things easier for myself in the afternoons. I will be thinking about what I can change to make things less…

Oh, and maintenance for me is 1700 calories net, so my goal is 1200 calories a day net, for 1lb of weight loss a week. I'm lucky if I can stick to even 1600 calories a day.

You all look great! Thanks for sharing your transformations!

You look like Snow White from Once Upon a Time! :)

5'3.5" here, 150lbs, size 12 jeans. I was the same weight before having kids and wore size 8-10, though. Thank you pregnancy!

I agree with most of the replies. If your body feels good, then go for it! You will get the warning signs if it's taking too much of a toll on your body. Our ancient ancestors had to run every day to find food or escape from harm, so I think we are meant to do it. :)

Thanks everyone! You all have me thinking. :) I will keep strength training, but only with body weight on my legs, and see what that does. I definitely don't want to cut it out completely, but I'm still scared to go too high on the pounds for resistance. Hopefully between light strength training, cardio, and a calorie…

Wow, you look great! I haven't been pregnant in 4 years, but I'm happy to see that you were able to get your belly much flatter with some weight loss. Great job mama!

Soup or salad. They are by far the most bang for your buck calorie wise. I usually have one or both every single day, swapping out the meats and veggies. My favorites - chicken tortilla soup, 150 calories a cup the way I make it, and salad with spinach leaves, tomatoes, mushrooms, Annie's lite balsamic vinagrette, and…

Wow, what a difference! You should be very proud of all that you've accomplished! :)
