You both look amazing! Nicely done! :)

It is a constant struggle, and will be for our entire lives. Unhealthy, high cal, addictive food is readily available, cheap, and tastes really good. There will be times in all of our lives when we mess up. It's impossible to eat perfectly 100% of the time, even for the strictest of people. You just have to try not to beat…

I still struggle with this, too, even though I eat well about 80% of the time now. What I find that helps me is kind of quitting the bad food cold turkey. The sugary, fatty, processed foods are addicting, and I don't crave them as much when I am eating strictly fruits/veggies/lean protein/whole grains. Not only do I have…

You look amazing! What an accomplishment. You should be very proud for how far you've come, and you are definitely an inspiration! :)

Thank you so much everyone for your responses! I'm just now reading this post because my son had a stomach bug last week, and I was busy obsessively disinfecting everything all week, trying to keep the rest of us healthy. Something very interesting happened during this time. I went 3 days with no appetite dealing with all…

I'd kill for a 5lb loss! How many calories are you eating now, and how much are you lifting?
-
I am 5'3", and usually eat around 1500 calories net, and I'm not losing AT ALL. I am starving and weak at 1200 calories, though. I have about 15 left to lose, so maybe I actually do have to cut down more on the calories?
-
Wow, you look amazing! What an accomplishment! I am also 5'3", and 152lbs, trying to get down to 135 (and maybe 125 - we'll see how much my stomach has gone down at 135). I'll add you - I need help, too! I started at 160, but have been struggling to get down to healthy BMI range for a couple of years now. :(

Wow, what a transformation! You should be very proud of your accomplishment! :)

You look amazing! I can really see a big difference! Congrats! The hard work has really paid off!

I agree that you should definitely see a doctor if you're worried. That being said, the lower my calories are, the later my period is. I do have PCOS and it's always a little irregular, but when I'm doing really well, near 1200 calories on most days, it's at the high end of my normal range for cycle length. Maybe you…

That is so sad, and so preventable! My heart breaks when I hear stories like that. :(
-
Wow, what a difference! You look great! Congrats!

I have a hard time with 1200 calories, too. That's usually my goal, but I tend to go over about 100 - 150 calories, and am still losing so far. I think you need to do what works for your body. If 1400 is not doing anything, you'll have to go down. I try to fill up on soups, salads, fruits, and veggies (maybe dipped in a…

That is quite an accomplishment, and DEFINITELY worth mentioning! I haven't been in the normal category for nearly 10 years. I hope I'm not far behind you!

Wow, your story is so inspiring! And what a good way to talk to your daughters about your weight loss! I have two daughters of my own. <3

Great job! I just started Insanity, and I have high hopes! :)

I really want a thigh gap, but just for comfort. My thighs are constantly feeling chaffed, and I can't wear shorts at all! I've had to throw away two pairs of pants recently for the inner thigh holes that I've worn in them. I don't recall ever having a thigh gap, even at my lightest, though, so I don't think it's possible…
