Self-love.... my goodness am I learning a HUGE lesson in that.

This was so wonderful to hear! So much insight! I am in grad school, work two jobs and interning 16-20 hours a week. I am BUSY but there is absolutely NO EXCUSE for poor eating for me... finding time to workout.... it's a STRUGGLE when I have 15/16 hour days every day. I'm exhausted. But again... no excuse for poor eating.…

I never said what that quote was. It's not fair to put words in my mouth or ASSUME what I meant by TONE. I meant just what I asked and what the topic title says INNER THIGH WORKOUTS. What I choose to do with them should be up to me. Really appreciate those of you who offered workouts/exercises. It takes a lot for a person…

Thanks for everyone who replied and helped me with my question. To everyone else who wants to be a d*ck about it. Keep your comments to yourself. I said : "I know that I cant spot reduce fat. Just looking for workouts to strengthen/tone a problem area."

Ahhh just youtubed the goblet ones never heard of those cant wait to try!

Would really be helpful if someone could mention exercises that target the thigh and specifically inner thigh muscles. I know that I cant spot reduce fat. Just looking for workouts to strengthen/tone a problem area.

YOU ALL ROCK! THIS MAKES SO MUCH SENSE! THANKS (=

Hey everyone all great points. I am doing just that I really just wanted to know the big deal about weight lifting and how it plays a part in what happens after you lift weights vs cardio. Weight lifting as the main form of exercise vs Cardio alone I get the whole deficit thing and understand that's important no matter…

Started at 335, down 13lbs with about 120 more to go! (=

This could be due to effort: Maybe you didn't work as hard as you think. We tend to overestimate. The HRM is not a good quality Polar brands tend to be more reliable with chest strap The HRM is defective The HRM is not calibrated to your body? Height, Weight ect Or back to effort... I would trust that HRM more than MFP…

Seems extreme BUT invest in a good HRM (Polar ft4 or ft7) and move, sweat get your heart rate up until you have burned 1000 cals. Running. Biking. Workout DVDs. Fast paced walks. Kickboxing. Weight Lifting. All of that. Get your heart racing. Something I've learned the hard way... You can't outwork a bad diet. Fact of life…

Going to have to be a lifestyle change in order to maintain it. But I do try and remember why I started to change my eating habits so I won't give up. I have good days and some bad days but I never give up and try and log what I eat. I have a food scale which helps with accurate portions as well. I am on a mission to lose…

This makes sense to me. I really appreciate all the time you have taken to answer my many questions. I think I will get accurate calorie burns because I use a trusty HRM I have a lot of thing to look at but it is completely worth the education because this is my body and life I am talking about so I will be patient and…

Now, THIS makes so much sense. I was not using Katch! But when I put in what I remember my bf% to be years ago it gave me a more accurate reflection of what MFP has given me. There is so much to learn but definitely worth taking the time to educate myself. I will be seeing a nutritionist next week so I will be sure to get…
