http://milestogo.squarespace.com/post-op-food-phase-3-soft-food/ I'm 1 month out from gastric bypass and my favorite meals are: Lemon Pepper Tilapia - 1 Tilapia filet, extra virgin olive oil (lightly covering), then lemon pepper seasoning, and finally finely grated Parmesan cheese (very light) - bake in oven Greek Yogurt…

What kinds of things are you eating now? I love some of the recipes on bariatricfoodie.com or Pinterest has some great ones, as well.

UPDATE: Last week I stuck to what I was supposed to do, as each of you told me and I lost 4.8 lbs. Thank you to everyone for your encouraging words and help! I greatly appreciate it!
-
That was wonderful! Thank you for the humorous and enlightening advice! It was awesome!
-
Thank you! And you are exactly right, if I stick to the requirements and recommendations the scale will move. I was doing exactly as you stated: comparing myself to others and their progress. I find it still hard to get all my water and protein in, but I am trying my best. Thank you again!

Thank you so much for the encouraging words! I appreciate it greatly! :)

That is great to know! I should have done my measurements before surgery. I will need to start keeping up with them. I will keep this in mind, thank you! :)
-
Maybe we need to do like Martabeerich and do measurements instead of lbs and see what difference there is :)
-
I am so happy you are seeing progress in the inches and can see that it is working. I hope you continue to see positive results! :)
-
You are fantastic! Your positive perspective is very kind and helpful. Thank you for your encouragement and knowledge!
-
I had never heard about the 3-week issue. Thank you for letting me know! This was very helpful.
-
Should I be hitting a plateau this early, though? It's only been 3 weeks....
-
You can add protein to coffee; however, my doctor's office suggests not making it hotter than 140 degrees Fahrenheit because the protein will start to clump.
-
Thank you for the encouraging words. I am doing everything I am supposed to (even trying to get in all the water and protein I can). Just needed to know if I am off track. Thanks! :)
-
THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP! I will start trying the suggestions and go from there. I really really appreciate you all!
-
Did you just put the protein in, then water, and how much sugar free pudding per 8 oz?
-
That's a really good idea! I will try some of my samples with ice.
-
I have heard of adding the sugar free pudding before. Which kinda did you use with what flavors of protein?
-
That's a good idea. I know someone doing Isopure and enjoy the flavors. It's just that I have to use either Bariatric Advantage or Unjury 2 weeks before surgery. After that, they said I could do any protein supplement as long as the first ingredient was "whey protein isolate".
-
I wonder why different doctor's prescribe or tell you to use something different than someone else. My sister is going through a Center of Excellence, and so am I, and they both are telling us different things. I am following my doctor's orders, but I would rather give some of these other ones a taste.

This is so inspiring! Thank you! You look fabulous!
-
I am glad you had a great weekend still
-
*groans* No me gusta. lol I was able to put some Pink Lemonade Crystal Light with the Strawberry Sorbet and it actually made it really good.
-
I wish I could do something different than the two brands I listed. My doctor's office said that I have to get the 2 week before surgery supply from them (which only includes that Bariatric Advantage and Unjury). Is the Premier's first ingredient "Whey Protein Isolate"?
-
Absolutely gorgeous! Such great motivation for me! Thanks!
-
This is too cute! I've lost a cinder block (almost).
-
I love love love it! I got 3-4 times a week and it makes my stress levels go down. As well as, I can tell a difference and I have been going for almost 2 months. I used to go a couple of years ago and went 5 times a week, and was hard core on Atkins, and I lost 50 lbs in 3 months. Just stick to it.... It's only 30 minutes!…
