Just curious, but why no dryer sheet? And does vinegar help with static? I live in a dry climate and if I don't use dryer sheets, I can't get the clothes apart.

Equal pay for equal work is NOT the same as being treated with respect and chivalry. I ALWAYS give up my seat whenever there's someone in need, not because I'm younger and can stand more easily, but because it's the decent (and chivalrous) thing to do.

If that's what your heartrate monitor says, then I'd say it's pretty accurate. Nice surprise, huh? :)

Just make sure you're ALWAYS using good form when doing it or you'll injure yourself. Great program. Do a search for other Insanity threads because there are a lot of them out there with a lot of advice.

Great job!! I coudn't run that distance in that time...impressive! :)

Before a race I usually make a PB & Banana smoothie - one banana, a Tbsp of peanut butter and a cup of milk. After a normal run I usually either drink a recovery formula or have some chocolate milk.

The rule I go by in my house is that if I'm not willing to do it myself, then I'm not allowed to expect my husband to do it. If your husband expects you to cook, then he needs to take the lead and set the example and cook food that YOU would like. Maybe then you'd be more inclined to cook for him from time to time. Leading…

Different strokes for different folks...you just have to find what works for you. I eat: Breakfast (around 300 cals) Snack (around 150) Lunch (around 400) Snack (around 150) Dinner (around 400) To lose a pound per week my intake should be at 1220, but I exercise 6 days a week so I almost always eat back my exercise…

Since you said you don't like weight training, maybe check out a class at your gym. They have several at mine that are different kinds of weight lifting, and when you do it with an instructor or other people, it's usually easier.

I would say you are sedentary. I have a desk job, workout hard for about an hour a day, 6 days a week and sometimes do 2 workouts per day. My job is still a sedentary job so that's what I use for my settings. I just add in my exercise calories when I exercise. If all your settings are correct, then you're eating enough.

Use an exercise ball instead of a chair.

Just keep in mind if you change the battery yourself and don't send it to a dealer, you'll void the warranty. But if you're getting a 00 reading, it's most likely the chest strap and not the watch. My watch fades and then goes completely blank when the battery needs to be replaced.

I'm 5'4" but I am not a petite person (frame-wise). I would love to get down to 140, but as long as I'm in a size 6/8 jeans, don't have a giant butt and don't have a belly, I'm good. :)

I just started week 6. It's a great workout and I've seen a lot of positive changes to my body. I don't eat clean, either, or take Shakeology. :)

I just bought these to add to protein bars but had no idea what they were or what to do with them otherwise. Thanks for the great suggestions! :)

I think anyone can do it as long as you take breaks when needed and don't punish yourself if you can't complete a whole session. I was already working out and within 20 lbs of my goal weight when I started, though. I'm halfway through and still have to stop here and there in the workouts. :)

Calculating your BMR is tricky. I looked at the one above (http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/) and it gave me 1441 at the weight I'm at now. I looked at this one (http://www.exrx.net/Calculators/CalRequire.html) and it gave me 1314. MFP gives me 1370. That's 3 different BMRs based on the exact same information.…

A lot of people log them, I do not. I only take one multi once a day, though, so I'm not at the caloric intake with them as you are. IMHO I think you should do what works best for you.

Enjoy it as a cheat night guilt free. One day won't hurt, and you may find you don't have anything to worry about. Have a great time!

I have breakfast, then a snack, then lunch, then another snack, then dinner. I make sure I have high-protein snacks and meals to keep me from eating everything in site. That's just what I do because I can't make it several hours between eating, unless I'm sleeping. Maybe try that? :)

I noticed that I don't jiggle anymore because I'm losing weight. I think that's really the key to the arm thing. You can have rocks for muscles but if you have a large layer of fat over them, they'll still jiggle. Do some arm strengthening exercises such as dips and curls to strengthen the muscles beneath, but keep trying…
