Best of luck to you! Do you have resources for different kinds of juices/recipes? You might get tired of having the same ones again and again. Also, do make sure you're getting enough calories to keep your body running and healthy!

Looks like you've got everything organized and ready to put into practice! I really like the one about drinking extra water if you go over on sodium. If I choose convenience/packaged foods I notice I ALWAYS go over on sodium. Drinking more water is a good idea! I think I'd like to up my steps (I use a FitBit) in 2013 and…

I suffered from gallbladder attacks for 10 years without knowing what the problem was (and of course I resisted going to the doctor.) Toward the end I thought I was having a heart attack! If the doctor thinks you'll continue to have attacks, have it taken out. No big scars, quick procedure.

Watch PBS. They sometimes show cooking shows on the weekends.

Here's an example of folks trying to help but maybe not saying things in a way that you find helpful. I don't think that was the poster's intent. Nobody knows your full story (including your family) so anyone offering ideas, comfort, encouragement is going to meet up with your true view of the whole experience. Trust that…

((hugs)) I've been the one in the hospital, worried about people judging me when I got out. Know that people really do want to help, but recognize that different people will express their concern in different ways. Some may act irritated with you. Others will want to hug you and not let go. Meet people where they are, just…

I'm here, just recently joined. Currently sitting in a cubicle 5 days a week, 9 hours a day. : (

So sorry to hear that your coming out experience wasn't a positive one. That takes great courage and strength. I'd suggest that you just keep making small efforts (cards, letters, emails now and then) just to keep lines of communication open. Lean on your friends to get you through the sad times.

There's been a lot of change in my life over the past year (divorce, moving, etc). I don't think I have the discipline to do a cleanse at the moment but I wish you the best of luck with yours! Happy New Year!!

Love it. Seriously. LOVE. IT. My favourite cheeses are creamy white ones like monterey jack and havarti. I try to weigh my servings and pair them with fruit like apples to help fill me up (so I won't fill up on heavy cheese). Cheese, fruit, and crackers is my favourite meal.

TOTALLY worth it.
