So inspiring! I too ran my first 5k in June and it was so invigorating!! I too look back at older pictures and cry because I can't believe how heavy I was but also because I'm proud of myself for defining a new and better me!! Congrats and keep on pushing!

I pay a lot more attention now to my body which us where I critique myself a lot more than before I lost the weight! But as I buy a few new pieces of clothes that fit, I feel awesome!

My goal is to lose 50 pounds in 1 year and to wear a size 10. I am now a size 10 but still a few pounds from 50 pound loss! I'm going to still reach that goal!

When I had my gallbladder removed after doing the post operation check ups, the doctor said "let me help you lose weight". He specialized in lap band surgery. I didn't think I was that heavy but I did consider it but decided after seeing some pictures and getting sick a lot I needed to lose the weight!

I thought about doing something similar, eating small during the day like fruit and splurge at one meal!

In Bob Harpers Skinny Rules he says no carbs after 2pm. I tried it for a week.and lost 5pounds. It was pretty tough though so I just stuck to salads w / chicken or fish!

The same with me, seeing the number on the scale helps to keep things in perspective to know what caused a gain or a loss. I don't freak out cause I haven't been in a predicament where I feel like why I am not losing, if I didn't lose I know why i'm not in denial.

If you are no hungry don't eat, don't force yourself!

If you can download the app to your phone. Either way if you are serious about your goals and think tracking will help you get there, then there can be no excuses, just have to fit it in. Or start tracking on paper throughout the day and then add at some point during the day. Much success on your journey.

Honey face your friends! Everyone goes through life changes, your weight does not define your beauty! If someone mentions your weight admit you have gained and tell them what you will do to lose it, if really good friends they will support you!

Just telling you what worked for me and I tried this method for a full week where I ate close to all my exercise calories and I did not lose a pound (I didn't gain but I didn't lose either)! You will need to see what works for you to be really sure! But, now I know exactly what to do when I am ready to maintain! Good luck…
