Yep - drink every few weeks but only a couple glasses of white wine - log it all. I have water in between - helps!

Yep - what she said - change your goal to maintenance. I have mine set at lose .5 a week to maintain and keep me exercising!

Don't trade for a collar - harnesses are better for control. I walk my dog (he is a little tike) and he does this often. 1) because something scared him - like a pop pop sound on a previous walk or 2) the cement/asphalt is too hot. In the first case - if I know it has not been too hot - I go in a different direction - not…

You can't - I read that they would like to have share recipes but it is not programmed for it yet.

OK - you did it! Your butt is adequately kicked and now it is time to move on. Let's not forget that before this journey - we would have not weighed and just continued the same behavior and gained and gained! You caught it! YAY YOU! Time to get back on the train. suggest that you find low calorie options for food you LOVE…

Not sure how old the little one is but you could help him/her sleep by wearing out all that energy. Go for a speed walk (baby in stroller) or walk to the park (or run) and PLAY!

Don't diet - change the way you eat forever! Everything in moderation - just keep within your calories. Exercise at least 30 mins a day - sometimes a walk - sometimes a full cardio workout and some strength training! You can do this!

Bump - on my list!

Go for 160 and see how you look and feel when you get there. Depends on your frame too - you can always decide to lose more once you get there. A good goal for you!

I just took a quick glance at your diaries. Here are a couple of suggestions : 1) WATER - drink at least 8 cups a day - I do more than that 2) Up your protein and fiber - I always strive to go over the MFP numbers in these areas. Stay under in fats (good fats can be accounted for in the numbers MFP gives you). 3) Exercise…

OK - when is this wedding? You may need a smaller dress than an 18! Congrats!

Zumba for Wii! Also - Biggest Loser is a good workout! And how could I forget EA Sports Actie for Wii

Yep - portion control - load up on lots of protein, veggies and fresh fruit. Leave the potatos, rice and bread.

Weight should be post cooking anyway. The size of a deck of cards is usually 3-4 oz

Exercise - worked for me!

A bigger hit of protein than many after workout snacks - usually 15-25 g - depending on brand/type. I throw in lots of fruit with my powder - and ice then blend up - makes it yummy. I don't like the powder all by themselves. Muscle recover drinks post workout are great for you. If, however, you will be having a protein…

I understand about swimming - I do it too. Be sure to get a big hit of protein following workouts. Eggs, greek yogurt and I have played with many fruit and vanilla protein powder shakes (lots of recipes online - just use a low cal protein powder). Really all you need is fruit you love (even frozen), 1/2 cup water or low…

For many years I drank six packs of real Coke everyday! About five years ago, I finally found something that I liked that I drank instead. It took lots of trial and error. Mine was Propel. I then graduated to real water - all day long - I feel it when I don't have it! I still have an occasional Propel or Fuze Slenderize.…

My niece has a 6 yr old and 8 yr old - both girls. She get's them in the kitchen and they help her make the food - then they can't wait to try it. They love mild white fish - halibut, mahi mahi with fruit salsa. Lots of chicken dishes too. Turkey burgers - there are tons of recipes - then even make granola and healthy…

I promise you I used to look just like this when I started at 212 (I am 5'7"). I started with 10 mins in the morning and 10 mins at night - cardio. I worked up from there and now do tons of cardio and some strength and toning too. Cardio will reduce your mid-section - 14 inches off my waist. Gotta burn fat before you can…

Love this - welcome to the Loser's Club! Good luck!

Don't think so. You can create a printable report (end of diary page) You may be able to copy (highlight) and paste. Columns and stats may get goofed up. If not you can print and scan it. Good luck!

I bumped way back when and now finally had some time to post a couple you may like. These are two of my faves from eatingwell.com EatingWell's Eggplant Parmesan http://www.eatingwell.com/recipes/eatingwells_eggplant_parmesan.html From EatingWell: September/October 1995 We reduced fat by coating the eggplant with egg whites…

I am well over 50 and just met my goal. In 14 days I will have been on MFP for a year. I started at 212. It takes time, perseverance and dedication. Log everything you put in your mouth and do some sort of exercise every day. Yep - no rest - although some days I just walk. Walking is fine but do something more as well. I…

I started with Propel - now I drink real water all day long. Fuze Slenderize is good too.

Could be the sodium - gotta watch that as it retains water. Also - for some body areas - aren't you doing some weight to build muscle? That iis going to fill you out as well - and for a man this is a GREAT thing!
