Designer Whey - in French Vanilla or Chocolate - 100 cals for 18 gr of protein and low sugar. I buy at Trader Joe's. I make my own shakes. Ice, 1/2 cup unsweet vanilla almond milk, 1/2 banana and scoop of choc protein powder. Blend away. Exchange PB or AB for banana (slightly more cals but more protein too) Pineapple is…

Sounds like you WANT to log your exercise - so go ahead and do it. Those calories will just be left over. You will still see your total line (NET) for the calories you wish to consume.

I started taking a couple weeks ago on the rec of an MFP friend and a bit of research. Today I was in an independent pharmacy and noticed a sign about it. I asked the owner/pharmacist and he said it is a great idea to take with diet is "calorie insufficient" (like on a diet) and that it helps burn fat and provides for more…

I know that the FT7 came out after I bought my F6. Not sure if it is the latest - but people seem to love it.

t takes time to figure out all your triggers. You will learn how to best control. For instance - I found that freezing my bread works best for me - and I have it individually portioned. This is how we learn - take measures to control the triggers!

$25 a week is WAY low. Not sure if I could do it and I am very thrifty. Dried beans in bulk - be sure to rinse and soak them. If you are in a hurry cook them all one day and put in individual wrap to freeze them. Frozen veggies on sale. Perhaps try the clearance section of the meat dept for sale (same day use or freeze)…

It is especially important to eat in the morning - a healthy big breakfast. I know - difficult for those of us not used to it. Once you do, however, you REALLY start needing and wanting it. Don't like breakfast foods? My friend does a Boca burger on a thin bun (Oroweat). Even a yummy protein shake to sip all morning would…

Walks are very important for a dog - no matter what breed. It is just part of being a dog! You are right to be concerned about the time of day you walk the Boston - early morning and after sunset are best. I walk my Yorkie 4-5X a day - a big walk in the morning - a few 10 min "potty breaks" and a big walk in the evening.
-
Remind yourself every day how bad you want this. My bet is you want it more than the cupcake! Good luck!

LOL - BOTH - love ALL dogs - and other animals too. Had a Siberian Husky and now have a Yorkie (big dog in small body). Gotta say I was surprised by this small dog (my first small dog) - what a special little guy :-)

I have the original set and really only like Live! I also have the Wii game and love it - but I jumped right to intermediate then advanced classes. Great workout! Better than the DVD's in my opinion. The real classes are the bomb though - LOVE them. You can locate near you at www.zumba.com with your zip code. You do not…

Another one - geez I have lots of recipes shared - better get baking Joy Cookies http://www.eatingwell.com/recipes/joy_cookies.html From EatingWell: November/December 2010 These coconut-chocolate-almond-topped shortbread cookies are reminiscent of Almond Joy candy bars. 4 dozen cookies | Active Time: 30 minutes | Total…

I have been meaning to try this one Peanut Butter Cookies 1 cup sugar 1 cup peanut butter 1 egg 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease cookie sheets and set aside. In a medium bowl, stir together the 1 cup sugar, the peanut butter, and egg until well mixed. Using your hands, roll peanut butter mixture into 1-inch balls;…

First - get rid of the junk - less temptation! I find that a hot VERY flavorful tea helps me at night. Good Earth makes a Caffeine free in sweet & spicy original - my favorite binge controller. 0 calories too! Also - Diet Swiss Miss (the 25 calorie one - not the 60 calorie). Both work well for me. Generally, I believe, we…

I eat out often and when we go Italian I just stay away from the pastas and order the chicken or fish - sans most sauces with a side of steamed veggies. They often give me double veggies because the "pasta side" is held back. You can always ask for Lemon to squeeze over it. I usually do have one piece of bread with no…

I love brown rice cakes with PB or Almond butter. Beef or turkey jerky is a good idea - I heard the ostrich snack sticks are good too - OSTRIM makes them. I always pack a protein bar for emergencies - like Think Thin, Pure Protein and Zone Perfect. Wasa is always a great idea - yummy with hummus.

Have not tried these but maybe you can give them a try! http://www.hungry-girl.com/show/comfortably-yum-too-ez-mac-n-cheese-recipe and http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/blt-rific-mac-n-cheese-recipe/index.html

The easiest and fastest is to grill chicken or fish (kids like halibut and mahi mahi) with your favorite seasoning. You can grill or roast veggies as well - I use garlic to season and add a teasp of pecorino romano with they come off grill/out of oven. Get yourelf a nice grill pan for inclement weather. I also bake the…

For an upset tummy - many Drs. recommend the BRAT diet. Bananas, rice, applesauce and toast. Good luck!

In addition to the suggestions here - hummus is great dip for veggies. I love the Litehouse Blueberry Pommegranate dressing (sold in the produce section - refrigerated - not on a shelf). I also use plain greek yogurt as sour cream and vanilla greek yogurt (non-fat) as a dip for fruit. The Laughing cow lite cheese wedges…

Great job and I love that you have so many more NSV's coming to you :-)

I have had a couple of people (mostly neighbors too) do this to me. It is amazing. I now watch for signs on their faces and tell them who I am - they look so surprised. I agree - don't look that much different but I guess they don't see us that much!

Atta girl - take the pressure off. Eat right and exercise - calories in calories out - that's the name of the game. Some of us need to learn what is really healthy. Bet you will do great!

BMR represents what your body burns if you were to rest or sleep all day and night. Look at your goals page. One the right side it will show you what MFP estimated that you would burn through "Normal daily activity" based on what you put in as your active status (ie Sedentary, Lightly active, etc). Below that number is the…
