  • Many large grocery stores have great salad bars. If they do not have a low cal dressing option just buy a bottled one. Good luck.

  • Yikes! I am 55 and I ride my bike - LOVE it!. When I started this journey - I worked up to the bike with walking, swimming, Wii Fit Plus. Now I ride and ride! Do it!
  • Good luck! One thing I can suggest is to focus on what you CAN do and get it done. Don't even think or talk about what you can't do. Instead of being afraid of failing - think about (and shout it) how you ARE going to succeed. You can do it!
  • Then make for dinner tonight - stop at the store on the way home. When I crave something - I always make a healthy version - or find a product that is low cal. That way you don't feel deprived.

  • Something small before workout - like a yogurt. After workout do something with great protein (helps muscle recover) - hard boiled egg or protein shake, for instance. Then you can make lunch a bit later - you won't be famished.

  • I try to go over on protein! I also eat a small meal every couple of hrs - 2 breakfasts; 2 lunches and one dinner - plus snacks. You just have to find your groove and eat fresh healthy food. Good luck!

  • Love it - Beginner to Advanced - lots of choices. Burn is GREAT and I take three classes a week AND have the DVD's.

  • The ONLY thing that really works for me is Good Earth Caffeine Free tea in Original Sweet & Spicy. It is strong - like liquid gingersnaps and kills my cravings. HOT drinks work best - we are really seeking comfort. Diet Swiss Miss is good too - the 25 calorie one.
  • It is realy hard - you gotta push through it and it WILL come off. I work out so I can EAT. I lecture myself every morning to get myself motivated and moving. You have to want it - REALLY want it! Good luck!

  • Yep - you need to eat to lose weight. I put on and kept on a lot of weight over the years starving myself. Of course - then I binged too! Breakfast is especially important to kick start your metabolism for the day. I used to have to FORCE myself to eat it - now I can't do without it. Good luck to you :-)

  • Go to the grocery store. Buy some healthy grab and go items to easily grab when you are on the move. Fresh fruit, Luna bars or Zone Perfect bars, etc. Always be ready with emergency snacks.
