  • I am looking forward to the day where people stop looking at my boyfriend and wonder why he is with me. I am looking forward to the day I can wear those size 9 junior pants I have from when I was 20. But mostly i am looking forward to the day where I am healthy and happy with how I look. I love this post it made me smile…
  • It can be any number of things. Your body thinking you aren't giving it enough food if you went from 4000 cals to 1400 cals. Also if you have been doing the same exercise your body could be use to it already. You may need to change it up. I change workouts daily... Or you could be gaining muscle which weighs more then fat.…

  • You actually can drink to much water, but as long as you aren't drinking huge amounts within a few mins you are okay. I try to stay at half my body weight for water, since we can get water from foods we each as well.
  • Checking in as I haven't in a few days. Sorry bout that. Today i wont be able to eat with friends/family as i work in an hour. But Water is half way there and i drink at least 9 more during my 10 hour shift. maybe I will make it 10 more one for every hour. Workout done.. and more will happen at work as I do…
  • First i want to say wow... there are a lot of us and that is great. Second we can do this.... we just have to put our minds to it and no negative thinking. Thank you Posh for making this thread. I was in a funk you could say.. starting out strong in the beginning of the week and then going down by the middle. This…
  • Hmm.. lets see me i am 27 years old and 5'4" and weigh 201.4 my lowest in about 5 years. i want to get to about 130-140. My background i was heavy all through school, the heavy one of all my siblings. And I hated it. Went to doctors and could never figure out why I was always a picky child. Then I decided to go into the…
  • Well Mondays are generally my weigh ins. So if i can join a day late i would love to. i am at 201.4 so by Christmas would be 171.4. That would be awesome to be that weight again its been 5 years, since i had a miscarriage and cervix cancer.
  • You couldn't have picked a better place to help you lose those last lbs you want to get rid of. This site is full of people willing to help and support you. So welcome to MFP, we love new people.
  • Great phrase.... I try not to cheat but even if i do once in awhile i will always put it down on my tracker. And drink at least 2 extra cups of water. Not sure if it helps but it's what i like to do.
  • Grats on getting under 200lbs and getting into those skinny jeans. I have a pair from when I was little. The only thing I have left from those days. I try them on every once in awhile and though I can't wear them yet I hope to some day. But grats again on what you achieved.
  • It is always important to eat your base calories, because your body will go into starvation mode if you don't. However eating your exercise calories is more of a what works for you. I know my best friend has to eat hers where I barely ever do. I just can't eat that much food. Though I try to always eat my base calories, of…
  • I have to say you are probably now one of my biggest inspirations. i tried P90X and then got very hectic at work. But starting tomorrow I am going to go all out no matter what happens with work. Thank you for being an inspiration to those of us who may need it.
  • I am totally in, sounds like a great idea.
  • Lol I will try to stick with it.. its just that i don't like it much... maybe has something to do with being at work all day in very hot humid weather and just not feeling like working out but doing it anyways.
  • Ok so i totally hate Plyo.. and wish I didn't have to do it. Would it be totally horrible if a switched something else in there instead. at least for my first phase. Oh and I will so totally join a thread if one is made as I just started yesterday... lol.
  • Thanks for the vote of confidence... I did Chests & back today with the Ab Ripper X. Was a bit brutal... but I managed to make it through it. and I def feel better for it.
  • I've had P90X for months now.. but never was motivated to start it for some reason and I kept telling myself I would start it tomorrow. Wish I was part of MFP and saw this thread before you guys started. Would have loved to join you guys. But I am actually starting it today. Hope I am up to it. But I just wanted to say I…
  • Great post as I was wondering about those exercise calories to. I knew I had to eat them, but wasn't sure if I had to eat them all. I will give it a shot and try to eat all of my calories a day. It just looks like so much food to me and i hardly ever eat that much on my work out days. But thanks so much for the time to…
  • Hi i'm not using it as a main form of cardio, but on days I do not feel like going to the gym that is what i do. I love Zumba though for my form of dancing when I don't feel like going to the gym. I totally do not feel like i am working out at all.
