I had a Fitbit flex and had to return two because it would not charge correctly. I now have the Jawbone Up and have done since xmas. It is much better by far. Easier to wear and use (no tapping just press a button) and for the 48 dollar cost it is well worth giving it a shot. Definitely the Jawbone. Good luck

I loved my Fitbit Flex and all that it does, tracked my sleep, fitness levels and synced to MFP but had to send two back because they would not charge properly. I did everything right, checked contacts etc., but nothing helped. It has not been mentioned here but it is a common problem. You only have to look up the reviews…

You look fantastic, it was great to read your story and see your pictures. I have just started walking, did 10 miles last week over 3 days. Well done

Bought a Fitbit Flex in Feb and by June I sent it back for a replacement because it wouldn´t charge. Tried everything, paper clips, cleaning connections, nothing worked. They were good enough to send me a replacement but that didn´t even last a couple of weeks before failing with the same problem. There is obviously a…

I bought a Fitbit Flex in Feb of this year and after 3 months it would not charge so I was sent a replacement. That didn´t even last for 3 months. I enjoyed using it while I had it (and I do miss it) but to be honest I would not waste your money. Unless of course you buy it from a retailer who will give you a refund if you…

Hi Sandra I bought a Fitbit in Feb of this year and after a couple of months use it would not charge. They sent me a replacement and I have had exactly the same problem and cannot use it. There is obviously a design fault with them that they need to sort out. They are not cheap so I would recommend that you do not waste…

I did the C25K although I never finished it because like previously mentioned I started going at my own pace and distance but it is a great tool for doing exactly what it says and that is getting people off that couch ;) start with fast walking, the more you do of that out in the open fresh air the more you want to do.…

I am in total agreement with mxmkenney. I have also had 2 (one a replacement sent) and both died, there is definitely a design fault on them. I enjoyed using it when I had it but if anyone asked me in advance of buying one I would say do not waste your money. I hope you have better luck with yours :)

You look fantastic, well done you :)

It sure does inspire me, similar age and just the way I want to lose it too. Well done :flowerforyou:

You look fantastic. Very similar in stats to me and like you I have had to watch my weight all my life. I am a short 5´2" too. I don´t have a weight problem, I have a height problem ;) You are just the inspiration I need today, thank you :)

Thank you for sharing your story. I have tried every dieting going too WW, shakes, you name it I have done it. You are right though plain old fashioned calorie counting (and most importantly exercise) is the way to do it and that is what I am doing now. We are very similar in weight so you are my inspiration for today. I…
