I too have battled all my life. Even in high school all my friends were thin, but I was considered bigger. I am 37 years old now and I have to work hard to lose weight and keep it off. I have found out that bad carbs put weight on me in a flash!!! Lots of great support on here!

I am leaving for our annual trip to Jamaica to a 5 star all inclusive..... Previous years I have gained anywhere from 4-9 pounds. I still have not gotten to my goal weight so I hope when I get back I am in the mindset of working hard to lose what I have gained plus losing the additional pounds I wanted to.

And we go to an all inclusive in Jamaica every year. I have never put on more than 6 lbs.... Mostly water weight though. Comes off pretty quickly.

I will be at one in Jamaica in 11 days 17 hours and 22 mins...... (who's counting???? lol) I plan to workout 3-4x while there. And just try to load up on as much veggies and fruit as possible!

Thanks Jude.... I am just in panic mode because I lost a bunch of weight for this vacation and was within 5 pounds of a weight I wanted to get to (not overall goal) and then to see a gain was a bit upsetting. I feel bigger but maybe that is just my head. I appreciate your comment. Right now I am focusing on the scale…

I am 19 days from a trip to Jamaica and 5 lbs from my goal...... Not sure if I am going to hit the goal. But I guess close to 40 pounds should be rewarded with a trip :smile:

Yes, always on my bathroom tile floor in the same spot. It gives me different #'s so I have to go with the one that shows the most! lol I think I got it early in 2008.

I have a Weight Watchers scale that is from sometime in 2008. I am wondering if it is getting too old therefore goofing up. I take it per my trainer. Been taking it for 5 weeks now along with a switch to Clean eating. Was down 10.5 lbs in 5 weeks.

I am 5'4" and currently weigh 140.3. My goal is 130-135. I have noticed my stomach starting to go down since starting "clean eating".

Everyone's bodies are different. You have to do a little experimeting that is what i had to do. I didn't lose eating my exercise calories. After trying it for a month and half. Glad I found this thread. I should know this, but this helps to make me feel better about my lack of losses this week. I haven't gained, but I havent really lost. I have Mirena and still get light TOM's each month, but I guess I still have all that comes with a normal TOM.

I have been noticing the week before and first couple of days I go into a stall or put on a little. I have been on Mirena for 1 yr and 3mths now and Dr. said they should go away but they haven't yet. :sad: Mine are only a few days long, which is better than what it was.
