  • Yay! So exciting to have some folks to check in with for this extra challenge! Yesterday I ended up doing another 1 3/4 miles with my hubby in the evening - it was super super slow, like practically walking, lol, but I burned some calories and that's what counts! Today was my L1D2 on Shred and I could feel some serious…
  • Whew! Tried the workout today and boy is it a workout! I skipped the last two sets, just didn't have it in me today. Now I feel challenged to get all the way through it tomorrow! Those of you doing No More Trouble Zones as well, how does it compare intensity wise to BFBM? Is it also cardio focused?
  • I'm going to try this workout today! I've done Shred a couple times and I've been doing Ripped in 30 off and on for a few months (mostly off :( ) but I haven't tried BFBM yet. I do know two things; one that I want to lose 10 pounds (or at least look like I've lost 10 pounds) by June first, and two that I do much better…
  • I love seeing everyone's workout plans and goals, really helps motivate me! For Jan I plan to do RI30 six days a week and KB&T three days a week. Hoping to see my booty lifted and firmed up by the end of the month. I know if anyone can help me get there it's Jillian! As far as goals for the month I'm shooting for dropping…
  • That is exactly, *exactly* how I felt before workout today! In fact, I almost had myself talked out of starting today, thinking about my busy week ahead, my daughter took a long time to get down for nap, excuses, excuses... But, I did it and immediately jumped on here so I could talk about it! I too did week one of Ripped…
  • Count me in! I'm totally planning on starting Tuesday with "Ripped in 30". However, I'm getting over a rough stomach flu bug and not sure if I'll have enough strength to keep up w/Jillian in two short days... Either way, RI30 starts this week! Since I have KB&T and 6W6P I think I'll add them into my routine three/four days…
  • Hey all! I haven't posted for a few days but I have been shredding! Glad to see so many keeping up with Jillian and making progress! Well, I've done 25 days of shred, made it through 10 days of level one, eight days of level two and seven days of level three and starting today I'll be taking some time off. :ohwell: This is…
  • I fell a bit behind my goal this week, only got in 690. Add that to last week and I've done 1410, 1690 to go! My husband has started to join me! (He can't do many yet, though ;) )
  • Accidentally took yesterday off. I got up early to workout like I did Saturday, I was just really dragging in the morning so I figured I'd wait til after church while my daughter was napping. Hubby had different plans, though. We ended up being gone ALL DAY running errands and Christmas shopping. When we got home at 7pm I…
  • Great job shredding on, everyone! I am so enjoying checking in everyday and seeing everyone's progress! Level three day two: still like level three. Much like how I felt at the beginning of the two previous levels, I was a bit sore and moved a bit slower today. Also, I felt the workout more in my inner thigh and behind…
  • I'm no help on the calorie burn question since I don't use a heartrate monitor and what I enter for calorie burn on here is an estimate from some research done in a couple different places... As far as moving on, listen to your body. Give level two a shot, follow the beginner moves and see how you feel. If it's way too…
  • Keep it up everyone, great job! I keep telling myself that everyday I do my workout is one day closer to wearing my old jeans again. Level three, day one done! What. A. Workout! If level two is heavy on shoulder work level three is heavy on core/ab work. That's fine, tho, cause that's where I need the most help. I love how…
  • Great job sticking with it, everyone! It is so inspirational to get on here everyday and read about how you are all getting your workouts it, even if you don't feel like it (like I so often feel...) We can do this! And to everyone just starting out and feeling sore, keep doing the workout - exercise actually makes the…
  • Welcome to all the new Shredders! I hope you all find this thread as supportive and motivational as I have! Today was level two day seven and I'm toying around with the idea of moving on to level three a bit early. I'll probably do level two again tomorrow then move on! So exciting to feel myself getting so much stronger!…
  • Oh yeah, I forgot to say that I'm past half way :blushing:
  • Wow, everyone here rocks! I followed up on our last thread and it sounds like everyone kept up great over the weekend. I, too, managed to get my workouts in! Weekend workouts are definitely the most challenging for me to complete because of family commitments... Okay, level 2 day six, done! I am totally still having a…
  • I've been there! I try to remember to do my kegels and I'm sure eventually it'll get better. But for now I always use the bathroom *right before* I do my workout (even if I just went 3 minutes ago) and lots of times I wear a panty liner, just in case. Your are not alone ;)
  • started today with 70 sit-ups, 50 crunches= 120, I'm loving this challenge!
  • @jvinmill - Good for you for enjoying a much deserved day off! It sounds like you truly enjoyed yourself, and really, we all need that fun and relaxation to help keep us motivated and going strong. You are doing great! I just finished level two day three and phew! am I ever whipped. My energy levels are way down today.…
  • I want to play! I totally need something to motivate me to workout beyond my 30 Day Shred routine, this will help!
  • @juliep, I share your feelings exactly of level two - all those plank moves are very challenging for me! Makes me dread the workout more. I've gone through 21 days and then 18 days of Shred in the past and I have found that level three is my favorite with level one a a close second and I can't stand level two, lol! Great…
  • Hi everyone, can I join, too? I'm new to MFP, just joined yesterday and found this group as I'm exploring the site a bit more. I'm a bit ahead on the Shred (completed 10 days of level one and just started level two today) but I plan on starting over again nearly as soon as I finish this 30 day round. I read through all the…
  • I'd like to join please! Just joined MFP for exactly this sort of support and motivation. Thanks!
