Great question. After one of my pregnancies (I got huge), I lost the weight too fast (diet shakes) and now I can't shrink my tummy for the life of me. Almost like the skin never shrunk. :sad: Loosing weight slowly this time, but my belly just won't go away. I hate my "apron skin". Wish I had the money to get a tummy tuck.

Try www.freedieting.com They give you numbers to "zig zag" your calories and a more realistic calorie intake. MFP gives you very low calories and I was stuck too when following a low calorie intake (gained some too). It's boring for me as well. I tend to do workout videos that use hand weights. Turbo Jam has an excellent "sculpting" video :-) I also try listening to my own music, the kind that really pumps you up.

I'm been going through something similar where I just hungry all the time. Have tried water, fiber, protein, etc. Then when I exercise, it's worse. :-( Frustrating. I used to use Livestrong.com and that gave me more calories to eat. Beginning to think MFP calorie goal way too low?

What can I do to loose when I've hit a plateau? Was loosing and now it went in reverse?? Still exercising, changing as to not do the same everyday. Eating the same as well.

I love breakfast. It seems to help me eat less throughout the day and feel fuller. If I skip breakfast, I seem to eat a huge lunch! First of all congrats on your weight loss!!! Second, I think that it is cool that you accompany your wife to the gym. Maybe zumba wasn't it, but the important thing is that you guys are committed to work out together. :-)

Some people just don't struggle with their weight (high metabolism). They eat horrible and still remain skinny! My husband is like that. When I eat like him, I gain it overnight, not kidding!

I call it my skin apron, that's how bad. I'm loosing weight, but the "apron" just gets worse (sags) :-( It's been well over 15 years since I've had kiddos. You can loose weight by cutting down on calories, but I opted to add exercise to my routine just because of all the great benefits to exercise besides loosing weight. Great for your heart, your joints, your muscles, your bones, your mind. :-D

Water aerobics is a must if you suffer any type of joint pain. They don't have any in this new city we moved to, but once summer comes, I do my own routine in the outdoor pool. Swimming is awesome, low impact and such therapy in the water.

I cheat on occasion or else I have binge attacks. I don't see it as cheating, but allowing myself a treat for the week. I don't eat like that everyday though. Yesterday I allowed myself to have pizza and enjoyed every bite. Today I'm back to my healthier eating styles. Not going to look back of feel guilty.

Tried it, not for me either. It's good for an occasional homemade juice drink, but I prefer blending and using all the fruit and veggies. I agree that eating clean is the best way to go.
