Not to be mean, but you should have not given him all those pills!! That was a slow and horrible death for him. My stomach just turned to think of all the side effects he had on top of his cancer pain. The vet's do not charge that much to humanely put him down. From 11am to 1am he suffered a great deal. I'm sorry, but…

With time, you get to know how many calories in your frequent foods. I like to scan barcode whenever possible and create my own meals or recipes, this way you don't have to be searching through database. Say for example you eat scrambled eggs, toast, and milk. Scan when possible and save under "Scrambled Egg Breakfast" or…

Most of these threads are just ridiculous if you ask me. People just need to eat healthy, allow treats, and MOVE and quit sweating the small stuff. Stay off the freakin scale too. A number does not define you. Somebody could be a skinny twig and weigh110 and somebody could weigh150 and be pure lean muscle. I personally…

Cook gourmet recipes, skip restaurants :-) workout at home, grow my own vegetables & herbs, not pay gym prices, homeschool my daughter vs sending her to private school, color my hair and have my daughter trim my hair, and shop at thrift stores for almost everything. :-) Saves us lots of money.

Yes, started last year and kept off the weight off so far. Counting calories helps me to see how much I eat (I love to eat). Logging my exercise motivates me and helps me see which routine works best. I zig zag (Calorie Cycling) my calories (Don't eat the same amount every day and this helps me more than anything.

HIS loss! I agree with the post go run! Do something using super high energy and you will be amazed how good you feel afterwards. Don't give up. :flowerforyou: Personally I like to crank up the music super loud and dance.

My toned legs. Funny because when I was young, this idiot boy called me chicken legs! No chicken legs now honey!

Don't take it, its bad for your heart and the weight will come back. It's better to do it slowly and change your lifestyle that will last for a long time.:drinker:

You are right. You are doing "calorie cycling" without thinking about it and when you don't eat the same amount of calories weekly, you do see results.

Had chick-fil-a too for lunch!!! I love the grilled one, with a side of fruit and ate two waffle fries from my daughters plate and feel satisfied. :-D

It's okay to allow treats as long as they are not everyday. Eat it with a salad and go for a walk later.

Based on your pictures, you don't need to loose!! Don't go by the scale numbers as your seem to have good muscle definition. Weighing less doesn't make you healthier. I say forget about scale numbers and focus on getting strong and healthy. If your muscles are getting larger, so will even the measuring tape numbers show…

I don't understand posts of people not being able to eat enough calories or must eat very low calories. If you eat healhty food and incorporate avocados, nuts, peanut butter, olive oil, etc. you will always eat your calorie goals and never be under. Plus its the good high calorie food. I found that the less I eat, the more…

OK, so I just generated my BMR and it lists that I should eat 2179 calories daily. That is WAY above what I am eating now. Could this be the problem? I feel like that is a lot of calories. [/quote] Not necessarily if you work out almost everyday. I was following the set guidelines for loosing weight and my calories were…

I thought it tasted like chalk myself. I tried adding a banana and almond milk and it went down easier. However, I decided to skip it and make my own smoothies. Try the skinnyms website. I've found some great smoothies there and healthy. Some are really delicious!

Frankly my dear, I don't give a dam.

I've always had a belly. :-( When I was young I was skinny as a twig and always had a belly bump. Now in my 40's and two kids later, loosing the weight, but my belly won't get flat. Never had a flat belly though, so may be genetics for me? Same as my large birthing hips. lol actual bone, no joke.

Had lots of pumpkin pie today, why skip it??? So do an extra workout.

Anytime you focus too much on what you eat, it can develop into an eating disorder. Personally I'm sick and tired of my gal pals always talking about calories and weight gain/loss. Personally I feel that you should try to cook healthy meals the majority of the time, enjoy the occasional treat and workout to something fun…

I think it depends on your body as everybody responds differently. What could be too much for somebody else may be a warm up for you. I do a zumba class and P90x video on the same day. Do what makes you feel good. If you feel too worn out and very sore the next day, probably too much. Otherwise, enjoy!

p.s. Yes, I also have creative hobbies that keep my mind going. Took some online classes as well, cooking classes, sewing classes, art classes, etc. Guess most moms don't "brag" about that. haha :-D

I'm a stay at home mom/ homeschooling mom and I love it. Not jealous of my husband going off to work because I get my escapes to the my zumba class, window shopping, lunch with friends, etc. Wouldn't trade it for the world. :-)

I log it as running/walking since I'm still in that stage. Just divide it by how minutes you walk and how many minutes you run.

Same issues. Had the "tummy" problems forever. Loosing weight, but my tummy just won't shrink. My kids are 16 & 21 now.
