I got my first one at 14. I worked the entire summer babysitting so I could buy it and pay the entire year in advance. I'm 24.

set yourself to maintain for right now. Then talk to your OB about how many calories you are consuming at the maintain setting. It USUALLY will be enough to sustain a healthy pregnancy plus keep you from gaining. You may still even continue to lose. Just make sure you talk to your OB for professional advice.

I use my chia seeds in refrigerator oatmeal. They are so yummy mixed in to almost anything. I would recommend (if you are using them in a shake) to put them in some almond milk (or what ever fluid you will be using) the night before and put them in the fridge. They will absorb and expand and then you will be able to blend…

I did the same time the last time I started MFP. I only focused on eating within my calories for the first month. Once I got the hang of that and adjusted to that I focused on eating cleaner, which I already was partly from reducing my calories. That only took about another two weeks then I started with a walking exercise…

I LOVE peanut butter! I favor the taste of JIF creamy the most but only buy it occasionally. I make my own otherwise because I can control what is going into it. I can keep it as organic and all natural as I want and I keep the bad fats out of it. =) Enjoy your PB!

Coconut oil is FANTASTIC for you! Your hair, skin, and ever internal organ benefit from it. It helps with vitamin absorption among other things. And has 0 cholesterol. Don't let anybody who is ill informed tell you that it is not good for you. :flowerforyou:

I went up in weight when I started 30 DS too. It's because your muscles are used to such a vigorous workout so they retain water to help repair themselves. Keep in mind that a lot of people do not see much of a weight loss from doing 30 DS. Muscle is more dense than fat so as you burn off the fat and build up your muscle…

That's very common. I don't have high blood pressure by any means but at my current weight my blood pressure is higher than what it would be if I were thinner (about 130/85). Last time I lost some weight my blood pressure dropped back to my "usual pressure" (about 110/65) after only losing 15 lbs! I know that blood…

$120 will feed my husband and I meals full of healthy foods for two weeks! I wouldn't waste my money on it.

MFP recommends that I only eat 1200 per day too. I couldn't function on it and found that I don't lose very much when I eat only 1200 so I upped my calories to a variable between 1500 and 1800 per day. I do not eat my exercise calories back though unless my NET calories are below 1200. Try for a few weeks with like 1500…

I second this!

Mine used to eat beneful but for the last year and a half they have been eating Royal Canin and I can see a huge difference in both my fur babies! I would recommend it to any dog owner =)

If you can get your body fat percentage measured, that is MUCH better to go by. Like you, even at my healthiest I was considered overweight according to my BMI but I was perfect according to my body fat percentage.

I actually looked this up and unless you are REALLY going at it for a long time and keeping your heart rate very elevated most people's burn is so minor that it's negligible and doesn't need recording.

I have (on several occasions) eaten an entire supreme tombstone pizza. I've also eaten a whole large thin and crispy crust super supreme pizza from pizza hut :blushing: and I could still do it if it were in front of me.

6 inch or mini turkey on wheat with all the veggies, no cheese, and a thin thin line of lite mayo OR 6 inch sweet onion chicken teriyaki with all veggies, no cheese, and a little bit of sweet onion sauce =) yummmmmmm! I may just have to go get subway for lunch today

to give up starbucks and fastfood. Only "fast food" I'm allowed is going to be subway.

you can buy a splenda sugar blend. It's only 10 calories per teaspoon. Or go all natural and organic and just enjoy the treat. It shouldn't account for that many of your calories.

I have a crucifix in every room of my house sans the bathrooms since there's no warding off the evil that goes down in the bathrooms. lol! Seriously though, I do have a crucifix in all the other rooms of my house and bless those rooms annually or any time I feel we need the extra blessing in the house.

I would stick with regular bacon. It's not that high in calories if you only have the recommended serving and turkey bacon uses a lot of extra sodium to help it cook and taste correctly.

I have one right now but mine luckily is only fluid filled so I don't have to have a biopsy but my husband and I are doing infertility treatments to try to get pregnant and if the cyst is not gone or hasn't at least gotten significantly smaller (it was 6.5 cm!) I might have to have surgery to have it removed. Sorry i…

I make huge batches of chunky chili soup and then portion it out into single serving containers. That way you don't have to thaw the whole batch for one bowl. Soups are always good to freeze. :)

it's not uncommon. Women with PCOS have higher occurrances of spotting between periods. Spotting between periods can also be a sign of polyps and/or fibroids. I wouldn't worry though if you know that you did in fact ovulate that's probably all it is.
