Day 2 started. I'm doing ok so far. It's helping that im eating fruits and veggies for one meal instead of just juicing. This morning I had three handfuls of spinach, two green apples, one cucumber, and some parsley. It was kinda sour but grew on me quickly. First day at work doing this....hopefully I won't have any issues!

Thank you for posting this!

I'm so glad I'm not on my own doing this. It's encouraging to know that other people are trying it and are having success. GOOO BIIIG REEEED!

Day 1 started. My first juice consisted of Spinach, parsley, carrots, a small bit of fresh ginger, green grapes, blue berries, black berries, one red delicious apple, and a nectarine. Tastes yummy. I can really taste the ginger and the fruits all blend nicely. They mask most of taste of the veggies. I weighed myself and…

I really wanted to get some Kale but my Safeway store doesn't carry it. I bought some bananas and I know I can't juice them but I'm going to mix some ice and the banana with whatever juice I make and have it as a smoothie.

I will be having mainly spinach salads with some dark red kidney beans mixed in and some tuna or other type of protein. I'm just going to try to eat something that's not too heavy or weighted down with too much fats/starches.
-
I haven't started it yet. I'll be starting it tomorrow.

That's the movie that motivated me to do it! :) how funny! I will definitely post updates along the way in here with how it's working and how my health and body are improving. I'm hoping that it works out very well and that it's something I can sustain for a longer period of time eventually scaling back the juice to just…

No $1500 for 6 laser treatments and 6 underarm treatments.

LOL!

I pay $45 for a wax. The prices for laser hair removal depend largely on the type of laser technology the spa you go to is using. If the spa isn't using the latest technology of laser then the the prices will be cheaper...it will also be more painful. The newest laser hair technology produce zero pain and no irritation.
-
As far as laser hurting...top notch reputable spas will have the latest technology in laser hair removal and it's completely painless. The only thing you feel is the moving of the wand an a warmth but no pain.

There is only one spot that actually hurts and makes you cringe a little. It's the spot right above the start of the labia. BUT it's usually gone in one to two strips depending on your hair type and thickness. and the rest of the area is just a minor annoyance. Plus most spas sell a numbing cream that you can use before…

the $1500 is by far the best deal I have found in the Phoenix area. Every place else is charging $2500 + for just one area. PLUS my spa does payment plans for it! haha I can't spend the money right now but I will hopefully have the rest saved up very very soon.
-
I want to get this done too! My spa is running a special for 6 brazillian treatments for $1500 and you get 6 underarm treatments free.
-
I usually go 5-6 weeks between (but I do the full monty) because otherwise the hair is not long enough to get a good grip with the wax.
-
I don't have any religious reasons for not eating it...I just don't really like the taste of pork. It tastes "dirty" to me. WITH the exception of bacon of course...but even bacon I don't eat but a few times a year.

Honestly, a better number to shoot for would be your body fat percentage. If you are at 217 but have a healthy body fat percentage then you're good.

I'm right there with ya girl! I hope others have some great advice.

I have spandex shorts that go mid thigh and they work. If you get a good quality pair they won't budge much during your workout.
-
I know it's a chick product BUT monistat makes an antichafing silky gel that you can put on your inner thighs right before your jog to help with it. OR you can get a good pair of high quality breathable spandex tights/shorts to wear under your workout shorts.

it really depends on how much you weigh and what your average heart rate is. MFP compiles all exercises you log throughout the day and just totals everything up so it looks like a lot was burned in one workout. Plus I think a lot of people are using the MFP estimates for calories burned and they tend to be a little high.…

I am allowed 1500 per day but I eat between 1200-1600 per day. I don't intentionally do so but usually I end up saving most of mine til the end of the day. I do eat through out the day to keep my blood sugar and metabolism up but it's mainly lower calorie foods or I work out before I eat supper so that I can eat more and…

^^This^^ and fresh beans are especially good for you! :)

what kind of HRM do you have? I found out that my Polar FT60 is water resistant but that I needed a special coded strap specifically for water if I wanted to use it while swimming. That might be what is wrong with yours. it's probably water resistant but not made to transmit through the water.

Oh girl! I feel your pain on every level! I don't have PCOS but I do have all the problems that go along with it (all the side effects with no diagnosis :( ) Hang in there as best as you can. Take a few days off from recording anything and just let your nerves settle. On the days that you work try just to squeeze in a 20…
