oooooh I LOVE  sweet and sour beets...but that kinda defeats the purpose of them with all the sugar mixed in them. lol

they really aren't that good for you but in a pinch they will work. I try to set aside an afternoon on the weekends to try and cook at least a couple of meals that I can just throw in the freezer and pull out later in the week when I need something to just throw in the microwave and eat fast. Good Luck!

ditto. For an accurate weight reading you should weigh in the morning in the same situation (amount of clothing, after using the bathroom, before eating...etc.)

it's very possible that you are losing fat but gaining muscle. And since, by volume, muscle weighs more than fat it's possible to see a gain in weight initially. I had the same result when I was doing 30 DS. Try taking your measurments once a week when you weigh. Since ultimately the goal is to be smaller this will give…

that's crazy! The hubby and I have been trying for over 3 years. I'm hoping my late period is really because of a pregnancy but I don't even let myself get my hopes up anymore. Here's to hoping we both get a baby when we are ready! :drinker:

ok so here's the deal. If you are testing negative on urine HPTs, and you are in fact 19 days late and you are 10000% sure that you did ovulate then you need to go check with your doctor. Otherwise, if you have been under stress lately that can affect your ovulation. Some women will ovulate no matter what but given that…

I was disgusted with myself when I hit 190 but always swore to never hit 200. My breaking point was when I stepped on the scale and it said 202! I sat down and cried. That was three months ago. Been working on changing my life ever since :) and I don't plan on hitting that number again.

an entire can of campbells chicken noodle soup? 150 calories :)

"Ima" as in Ima stop at McDonalds. "Know what I'm sayin" <<No. I don't know what you are saying. "Get off" As in "I need gas but I don't want to get off my car." <<grrrrrrr! "hateraide" << my boss seriously over uses this. "like" before every word << as another poster stated, THINK BEFORE YOU SPEAK! "Baby momma" and "baby…

make sure when you are doing your workouts you aren't clenching your teeth or pushing your lower jaw into the back of the teeth in your upper jaw...beyond that I can only tell ya to check with your dentist if it persists. Good luck!

I would add an additional 150-200 calories on those days. You are much more busy (on your feet and running around) on those days so you are burning more calories. I know it's super hard (I'm a nursing student so I know what clinical days are like) but try to squeeze in a Special K protein shake between breakfast and lunch…

I have a Polar FT40. LOVE it! and it has an add-on that you can buy that works in sync with the HRM. You just clip it to your shoe laces or bike and it tracks distance and steps. it is on the pricier side (approx $160-$200 for just the HRM) but REMEMBER you definitely get what you pay for when it comes to HRMs and…

Wendy's chili, and Chic-Fil-A! :)

I'm not sure how Body Bugg works but for your stats it looks like your Polar gave you the more believable calories burned count.

is there a monthly fee with the bodymedia fit?

never experienced it but I would be concerned that either shoes/socks are too tight (feet will swell a little during workouts) or that your heart rate is getting too high and is leading to poor circulation to and from your feet.

eat. period. If you are below your calories and you are hungry then eat. I wouldn't put a lot of stock into what time you are eating. Just make sure you stay up for an hour or so after eating so that you can digest the food out of your stomach and into your intestines. The only real risk you have from eating late at night…

Gender: Female Age: 23 Activity Level: sedentary/lightly active Calories eaten per Day: it depends on my activites for the day (I eat back my exercise calories) but between 1400-1800 What type of diet you follow: No fad diets. I eat mostly whatever I want but try to stay higher in protein. I believe carbs are important but…

welcome! I'm sure you'll do great as long as you are faithful to logging in and changing your lifestyle! It may take you a few weeks to get totally adjusted to what "feels" right for your body (ie. how many calories you need to be able to keep the crankiness away and maximize your weightloss efforts) Feel free to add me if…

I have JM 30 day shred. I started it just before Easter but then went on a little vacation and never started it back up. That's a great idea though! I start classes for my CNA on Tuesday and work on the days that I don't have class so this week will be a challenge to get to the gym so starting up 30 day shred in the…

this is disgusting! although oddly motivating

I tried it. It worked after a while by making all the sweet foods I wanted taste exactly the same so I didn't get that satisfaction of the different tastes and therefore didn't crave them as much but it didn't help me reduce my portion sizes or make me not crave them. And the salty additive didn't do anything at all for…

CHEESE! :)

I know how to drop it in egg and flour then fry it in a skillet...but that's not too healthy. I'd like new healthy recipes too!

one of my friends did it a while back. She lost a fair amount of weight while on it but after about a month she got bored with it and went off it. She's gained back all the weight she lost plus an extra 10-15lbs. I'd steer (sp?) clear of it and just stick with fresh fruits and veggies and home cooked meals.

hooray! Congratulations!!
