Wowza! Sorry gang, missed this post. I've been back at school for over a week - we went back last Monday. Students won't be in for another 2 weeks!

I don't think it's schlubby! The goal weight that I set for myself in my mid-20s was not the same goal weight that I set for myself at 20 and I would bet $$$ that it won't be the same goal weight that I have for myself at 30. Then again, I have friends at 36-40 who have 2-4 kids and look better in a bikini than I do... so…

As an adult, I've been as low as 106 and as high as 159. 5'4 and current goal is 120, but more importantly, getting to a point where I keep my weight stable. Also, if you're reading this and have similar goals, please hit me up! Would love some ladies on my feed with similar weight goals!!

Yup! I, too, am doing it again. Sent you an FR!

Just my personal experience... Dropped the weight I needed to drop in a few short months, then maintained for a year (with logging). Lifestyle changed after six months - new city, new job, new house, new routine. Year two, gained back 25% of the original weight lost; felt fine. Year three, gained back an extra 25% of the…

As OP noted - the beginning of the school year is coming up. The back to school transition is hard work for students and it requires a good bit of extra work from school staff. And when you're putting in extra 3-6 hours of work every day, it can be very easy to slip out of your workout routine or regularly scheduled meals.…

Bump/joined! School counselor here... only one more week before I go back :#

Bump! My diary is open - feel free to add me! Some days look better than others but I LOVE getting food ideas from my friends.

Eh... I look at it more like a backup. When I notice that my meals aren't quite as nutritious or if I notice my hair + nails looking a bit lackluster, I'll add them back into my routine for a few months. But "required" isn't quite the word I would use.

@lporter -- I was just looking at that recipe, thinking it looked great, but then nixed it due to concerns about it falling apart. Doh! Of course, I can use ramekins. You are brilliant!!
-
I like to do french onion soup in ramekins -- means that I can do the bread and gruyere individually, so it doesn't get soggy.

I didn't notice the weight gained with the Depo Shot... until I went off and lost 10 pounds like I was going for a walk. Also, don't miss those mood swings :)
-
Just sent you a request - this reads just like me! Educator struggles and the excuses! I'll do it before... I'll do it after... Time to get back into the swing of it. You're in good company! xo.

I just got an e-article from Fitness Magazine entitled "10 Foods to Never Eat." If you're wondering, frosting, bagels, donuts, bacon, and soy sauce are all included in the list of no-nos. (http://www.fitnessmagazine.com/weight-loss/eating-help/calories/foods-to-never-eat/) ... lol.

Playing catch up: Yesterday's stats Yesterday was a big day. I went to see Jack Johnson perform as a belated birthday gift to myself. So what did I do to celebrate? - 45 minutes of AM lifting. My body is still recovering. It was phenomenal. - I WENT ALL OUT. I went to my favorite Tex Mex place for dinner - tacos, queso,…
