I had my 2nd IVF treatment mid June. I also gained weight from the meds I was on. My suggestion is to not get frustrated with the weight gain, emotions, etc. That will just make it worse. It helps that my husband is very supportive during all of it. He is definitely involved, but at the same time, he doesn't have the daily…

Thanks for letting me know! I always let my husband know of the exact route and that if I'm not back by a certain time, to come looking for me. I think I'll spare the expense. Thanks!!!

GO PACK GO!!

Every day I eat an english muffin or toast with Jiff Natural Peanut Butter and some coffee. Yum!! Oh, and 8 oz of coffee. I usually have a snack around 11am, and eat lunch at 1 or 2.

I chuckled quite a bit when I read his name.....

Sounds really good! Thanks for posting!!

I like the idea of a half bagel and boiled egg! I know that I need to increase protein intake. I feel full about after my meals, but I also feel I could eat more. I guess you could say comfortably full. To be honest, I don't know what I am looking for. I just know that I need a change. I haven't weighed myself in a long…

I feel bloated and greasy when I eat too much starchy foods  That's another story......

Thanks everyone! Bagels and cream cheese aren't bad, they just have ALOT of carbs. I read somewhere ( I think Bob Harper), that you should try and limit to 42 g of carbs in one meal. I'm starting to wonder if I'm calculating my TDEE and stuff incorrectly. My TDEE is 2069, which means my daily caloric intake should be 1,759…

My most recent pair is Asics Gel Kayano. I went to a specialty store, and had my gait analyzed. What happened to me is what a few people mentioned in your post..... went too hard too fast. That resulted in physical therapy and a $560 bill later (after insurance). During therapy, I was taught how to run right (on my…

This thread has me intrigued! I'm going to do some research  The one thing I am concerned about is cost. Don't get me wrong, I know that healthy foods are going to cost more, but it also needs to fit the budget. I could try and rearrange my budget.

Grill it on skewers!

I usually eat a piece of toast with peanut butter before my races or weekend races. I probably drink about 2-3 cups before I actually set out and run (1-1.5 hours from the time I wake up to running time).

Your progess is impressive! I started running last year, but am running more this year. I signed up for my first half (9/21/14), so I'm training for that. I usually run 2-4 miles two days a week, but need to increase it. I found out today that I have a stress fracture, so I'm not able to run until 7/7 (at the earliest).…

That sounds like too much exercise to start off with. I would recommend changing your diet and then start with exercise. Did you eat your exercise calories back when you burned 700? If not, you were basically starving your body. What workouts are you doing? I found that Jillian Michaels DVD's (esp. 30 day shred) are good…

I'm 5'2ish, maybe 5'3". I'm 153 lbs and my goal is 130. Been active on MFP for 500+ days!

yoga (once a week in class and then 1 day at home) running outside (training for a half)

Fresh mozz only  I didn't need to add any spices or anything, it was so tasteful as is!

I only made it once so far, but it was delicious! I cooked it on the stove, then then added mozzarella balls, edamame, chick peas, white beans, and I think kidney beans. Very filling and tasteful! I didn't take pictures, so you'll have to use your imagination as to what it looked like

445 days of consecutive logging  Feel free to add me, but don't be alarmed by my daily counter--it says one for some reason....... I have an email out so it should be fixed soon. My diary is open, I occasionally look at the community boards, and I love to keep in touch with friends. -Nicole

Update: I went on the website and did some re-configuring. Here's what they came up with: 3 meals/day BMR: 1448 TDEE: 1737 Daily calories: 1390 Protein: 46 h Carbs: 34g Fat: 15g Since the protein/carb/fat is per meal on the website, I would multiply those times three to get my daily macros. 138g protein, 102 g carbs, and…

Thanks for your help! I didn't mean to do that macro breakout, I must have skipped that step. I'm going to go ahead and re-enter the information. I usually eat 3 meals a day, but I am looking to focus more on macros. As long as I get the macros correct (or as close as possible), I'm fine. I'm not going to stick to the…

This scared me too. I had to give my lungs time to adjust to the outdoor air. It didn't take long, but it did take some time

Good article! When I started running, I didn't run at an incline on the treadmill. Keep in mind that I trained for my first 10K on a 0% incline for the majority of my training. It wasn't until 7 months later, that I up'ed my incline. On a side note, I can't wait to get my RW magazine!!

Fantastic job!!! You should definitely be proud of yourself and all that you've accomplished!!!

Congratulations!!!!

Some brand of Avias, and I love them!

Any type of cardio is good, but some are easier on the body than others. I even heard that walking (for more than 30 minutes) is "effective" as well.

two pieces of whole wheat toast with half an avocado (spread equally on both pieces of bread) and a coffee with sugar free french vanilla creamer. I love this thread--great breakfast ideas!!
