I go way over too every day because of this, and it has not affected my weight loss/maintenance. I pay attention to calories more. I wouldn't sweat it really unless you are not losing weight, in which case then you need to maybe analyze the levels you are consuming of other things too like sodium, and other nutrients also.

I use water, because I don't want the extra calories of milk even if its skim. I'd much rather use the calories on a tasty mix in like frozen berries, frozen bananas, flax, chia or walnuts. I mix it up all the time, plus alternating between the chocolate powder and the vanilla. Keeps things interesting!

I know in general it works, especially if it is mostly followed, we all have our bad days, believe me. I was just wondering if anyone did this before, as sort of an experiment and what results they got if they ate exactly their calories every day, as difficult as that would be to do for 5 weeks straight.

Thanks for all the input! I did say I do go there and put in an intense, hard workout, regardless of whether or not people of the opposite sex are near by, and I will keep doing so no matter what. In one day, yes this is normal. What always messes with me is one day to the next, or within a couple of days, if I ate bad one of those days, and go up 5 lbs. But think of all the water you drink (hopefully a lot) in one day, water is heavy! You'll be lighter in the morning, and don't weigh at night anymore! :)

I don't see a problem with it unless you let it get to you in a negative way. If a bad number will ruin your entire day, then I'd try to de-emphasize the level of importance the scale has in your life.

www.bodybuilding.com is a great site with a ton of choices, reviews of products, very reasonable prices compared to GNC too. This is where I buy supplements if and when I feel I need them.

I mix a little bit in with my spaghetti/marinara sauce for a creamy red sauce. The lumps pretty much melt into it. It is sooooo good.

Calories burned on MFP are usually less than what my elliptical will read out, so I'm assuming its taking weight into consideration. I usually lowball it anyway just to be conservative. I hope to invest in a Polar HRM within a few months though!

I eat a cup of oatmeal for breakfast also, just plain with some cinnamon. I am also really hungry like 1-2 hours after breakfast. I really think this is probably due to being thirsty. I was pretty much the heaviest I've even been while on Depo. Can't blame it entirely on the Depo, because Buffalo Wild Wings had a lot to do with it too, but I did notice some correlating effect on my metabolism.
