  • I really wish it'd take your past 7 days into account and tell you, if you ate like this week, in 5 weeks from now you'd be XX. A week is a much better judge than one day.
  • That is definition, you look darn near perfect to me!
  • I'm a pear just starting out on Strong Lifts. Good to know it works. I am excited to see results!
  • I loved mine, but I just lost it :( I am pretty sure its not coming back too. I will definitely be getting another one soon. I am hooked on it! There's nothing like knowing what you're burning during a work out. It spurs me on. Without it, I feel lost and like what's the point, even though I know its still doing good to…
  • And this is why I decided to start lifting! Started for the first time yesterday! You look hot!
  • I only bought soy milk long before I actually gave up all dairy. It just stayed fresh longer than other milk, which always went bad before I could finish it. I am not worried about that article because I rarely drink it, just use it to cook periodically, in tea, etc. I did consider making my own almond milk and flour,…
  • That's good advice on the machines, thanks! Cost is a prohibitive factor for me in getting a personal trainer, so I want to see how much I can do without spending any more money than my gym membership. I'm sure it'd be a big help though, so maybe someday. I'm also a tad intimidated about going over to the "guy" section of…
  • Thanks for all the great tips everyone! I will check out youtube, and see what apps I can find. I will see what help the people at my gym have to offer, Planet Fitness.
  • Personally, I gave up dairy as an experiment and my lifelong struggle with acne ended, which was enough for me to stick with a dairy free diet for life. Also, has improved my asthma and allergies. I am carefully about only drinking and eating non-gmo organic tofu, cheese alternatives and soy milk though. If you struggle…
  • I agree: moisturize, exfoliate, drink water, sleep. Also, I love Dr. Jart's BB cream. Its like a tinted moisturizer. I use it instead of foundation or powder. I like the water based kind. It's a tad expensive at $30 a bottle, but I'm hooked!
  • I wonder the same thing. This is why I wish MFP would put a button or allow you to see what you'd weight if you ate like "this" for the week, for 5 weeks, instead of just a day, because some days I have days when I go way over, and that feedback is totally skewed then. I think a week basis would be more indicative.
  • It doesn't sound from how you describe your body that it is attainable for you without reaching some very unhealthy weight. I think they come more naturally to tall women. Appreciate what you do have. I guarantee the grass is always greener :)

  • I gave up dairy 2 months ago, and have seen great improvements in my life because of it. Feel free to add me! My boyfriend has celiac disease, so we are a dairy free, gluten free household for the most part. We make pizza pretty often still, and its delicious! We buy gluten free pizza mix, and use dairy free cheese. I…
  • The overwhelming fear of gaining the weight back.
  • AMAZING! You're the definition of inspiration! Thanks for sharing!
  • I am gluten free and dairy free, feel free to add me for support! OP--> I sent you a friend request.
  • Possibly you need to add more healthy fats into your diet?
  • I feel ya. I really like spaghetti squash as an alternative and just bought a spiral cutter because I heard spiral cut zucchini noodles are another fantastic sub for pasta. I would go for either of those 2 vegetable options over the shirataki noodles and I'm generally not picky, and have tried them many different ways over…
  • Quinoa! My bf got me back in the habit of always needing a filler like rice or potatoes too, and I subsequently added the new relationship 10 lbs :( But I've shown him some alternatives and now he prefers these. Like cauliflower "rice," mashed cauliflower, spaghetti squash instead of noodles, zucchini noodles, and…

  • I've had men on a couple of occasions refer to us as "girls"! Now that is infuriating
  • If you are feeling sick and bloated after eating carbs it could be the wheat, not all carbs. Do some experimenting with a gluten free diet and see if you feel better.
  • There are genuine questions I have from time to time, but I won't post them on the board because I'm afraid of all of the extremists. I agree.
  • I don't think its a disc issue. I think it got pinched from sleeping incorrectly, and having my computer monitors off to the right side at work. The doctor said its inflammed from being compressed, or something like that. I moved the computer monitors, and want to get a lumbar support for my chair. The muscle relaxers help…
  • Thanks for all the feedback. Yeah, I'm regretting not asking him as I walked out of the appointment. I guess I'll wait another few days before getting back to it, just to be safe.
  • gluten free=/=carb free=/=fat free=/=calorie free. In fact if you are going gluten free, be careful because a lot of the corn and rice replacements can have less fiber than whole wheat items. Quinoa and brown rice are great GF high fiber options.
  • I think 100% accuracy may be too much to ask, but consistency is not.
  • I do eat a ton of fruits and veg, and drink water in addition to all the Dermo stuff, but thanks for the advice! This is all great to know, I can't wait to see! Thanks for the tips on the dairy free cheese especially!
  • Thanks for all of the good input everyone. I will give it a try for 30 days at least. Giving up chocolate and ice cream is going to be a challenge! Any good dairy free chocolate subs? I already only buy organic soy milk for my "milk" simply because it lasts so much longer than cow's milk. So with a few other tweaks I…
  • Peanut Butter, Cereal, Ice Cream...watch out!
