  • Another twin mum here....mine were babes 4 & 5 for us. I had gotten into good shape for 2yrs between our third and them, but unfortunately went soft in the year before I got pregnant with them. Now they will be three in September and I am determined to find my muscular back again. I also have twin skin..although its no…
  • I am also 5'10" and am about 149 now, yet look softer than you!! I too had a goal for 135, but am not so sure now. I would be happy staying this weight ifi traded the soft for muscle.
  • It's so amazing how the scale just doesn't tell the "truth" but the in he's and body fat percentages do. I am 5'10" and weigh LESS than you but yet look insane soft compared to you. Awesome work and you have lots to be proud of.
  • You are very welcome!
  • The ultimate goal behind exercising and eating healthy is so that we can enjoy life longer and happier. It allows us to HAVE those times where we can let loose and ENJOY LIFE! You obviously realize that it's not an every day thing...likely not even an every week activity. So now,eat healthy, continue your exercise and…
  • Yah...veggies are hard to add in if not your fave.... What about a smoothie? Use your fruits to disguise the greens? I get spinach and Kale into my kids that way. I also purée them and add to my spaghetti sauces, meatballs etc. amazing how you can "hide" the good stuff!
  • My first instinct isn't so much how many calories, but the kinds of calories. I didn't see any veggies on there...fruit yes, but no veggies...especially the good dark green leafy kinds! Plus your sodium...wow. Protein is good and needed, but if it comes in the form of salt, I really don't see much good in it personally.
  • Just as an off the wall, throw it out there idea...a friend of mine and her kids react that way to dairy. They cut dairy out and voila...eyes were no longer ringed by dark shadows.
  • You look amazing. Congratulations on a job well done. And as for the stretch marks....this was an amazing journey in your life....just as pregnancy is for so many of us. I have many stretch marks from my five babes and am proud of each one as well, so good or you for realizing the significance in yours.
  • For all the almond milk drinkers, make your own....much cheaper if you buy the almonds on sale. And fresh , I prefer almond milk. Won't touch soy because of the GMO aspect, and am lactose intolerant. Plus I am vitamin b12 deficient so it helps me out just a bit more there.
  • Everyone who has posted pictures looks awesome! Good job ladies! And husband!!
  • I agree with bullet1! Amazing improvement in posture! You look awesome! Congrats on a job well done and hard earned!
  • Thank yu very much. I too wish I had figured it out sooner! I do eat a fair bit of actual food proteins, but am horrible for breakfast so I tend to have a smoothie and like that boost of protein. The hemp changes every one. Mealy is a good word. I will look into the ones you both have suggested.
  • I am a mum of 5, my twins being the youngest and 2.5yrs old. I was at my healthiest when I got pregnant with them, and weighed 5lb more than I do now because I was toned with muscle. I have no more twin skin than I did after the first three. It's only been the last mth that I have started being able to put the effort in…
  • You look so healthy now!! Congrats on a hard earned longer life!
  • I consistently go over in protein and fibre. Always....so far so good....
  • Another twin mum here - my crew starts with a 9yr old girl and ends with four boys - 7yrs, 6yrs and 2yr old twins. (the 7yr old was a twin also, but we lost his womb-mate at 12wks). I tend to make a monthly menu and then grocery shop for that, using up what we have in the pantry. I try to make sure to take out what I need…
  • I'm a Mum....to 5 kids. No further need to explain the 'Chaotic' part now, is there? LOL
  • Going by the recipe calculator at SparkRecipes, if you had 12 servings in one loaf, you would end up with, per slice.... Calories 156.3 Total Fat 3.8g Cholesterol 0.0 mg Sodium 1,527.6 mg Potassium 102.0 mg Total Carbohydrate 29.2 g Dietary Fiber 1.0 g Sugars 14.8 g Protein 2.6 g BUT!!! If you switch to whole wheat flour,…
  • You look so wonderfully HEALTHY!!! I wish MY Grandma could have done what you have - maybe she would have lived to see her great grandchildren....she was only 74 when she passed away, the year I got married.. because of major complications from being obese. You have given yourself and your grandchildren a wonderful gift -…
  • That is awesome. I love counting inches more than pounds too. Thanks for sharing.
  • This is a good description. I know that I weigh the same or a bit less as I did a few years ago but am inches bigger in many places, belly, arms, thighs. I was quite toned though previously and it got away from me with children and a cross country move.
  • Hi! I'm a twin mum too! :) I have 5 kids and my youngest are twins - they were two in September and although I'm back to the weight I was when I conceived them, I'm nowhere near as healthy. I used to be toned and lean - now? I'm soft. I need to get back on track.
