Definitely go to the food section. Find recipe, and create your recipe. You can do this for every homemade meal you have. I have used it for my mom's rolls, and was surprised at how little the calories are.

I would forget about calories if I were you. Just eat lean proteins, lots of fruits and veggies, low fat dairy. Avoid giving in to cravings and fast food binges. Vegetables and fruits are carbs, so yes I eat carbs at dinner. My goal is to make sure I have protein with every carb and also at least some healthy fat.

I would ignore the number on the scale. Check your measurements. Also maybe go up in calories for a week or two, and then go back to the 1200 calorie diet.

I don't know when you joined, but they don't have meals to purchase in the meetings. Homemade meals are encouraged. They have an online site where you can figure out the point values of any recipe you have. They do still have food scales, and snacks to purchase, but I rarely saw people purchasing them.

A little jealous. My son's dietician said no McDonalds or any other fast food for 6 months. It wasn't that big of a deal before, but now that it is forbidden I am really craving a Big Mac. Oh well. Six months will pass and when I am able to get it I am sure the craving will have passed.

I did WW and lost 50 pounds. I had to quit because of some financial difficulties. I kept the materials and still use them. I have found it much easier to lose weight at WW than MFP. I am shorter than you and a lot heavier. My goal is 2 pounds weight loss, and mfp set me at 1200 calories. It works for me, but I make sure I eat my exercise calories back. When I don't exercise I make sure my food choices make it so I can stay full and not go over my calories.

Did they say anything about hair loss? After 2 weeks of this your hair will start thinning or falling out. I think you may lose weight temporarily but in the long run you will probably end up gaining it back.

I am short and very inactive. So 1200 calories is what is recommended for my weight loss. However when I exercise I make sure to eat my calories back. It works for me. I just can't eat junk food. Every calorie must count and be nutrient dense. Lots of veggies, fruit and lean protein. Otherwise I am hungry.

I also go with a friend that prevents the guys taking the treadmill next to me. If he is really giving you the creeps it's best to tackle it head on. Tell him he is making you uncomfortable, and then if he still persists get management involved. Or adjust your schedule to avoid him?

Eat an egg, bacon, or some other protein with your cereal. I think I could eat 2 bowls of cereal and possibly 3 if that's all that I ate for breakfast. The protein will help you feel full.

Apparently they aren't following the new program. Our school just announced that greek yogurt (4 ounces ) will be an entree, served with 1/2 cup fruit and milk. How is that going to fill a kid up? Can't there be an in between. Don't want my kids eating junk, but they still need calories and something of substance.

Bill Phillips has a great program Body for LIfe. It gives you the exercises to do, and a way to lift weights that are heavy for what you are used to. Great place to start.

I never kept track of calories with my pregnancies. (Which explains 60 pounds of my weight gain). My doctor told me on my last baby that he only wanted me to gain 10 pounds. WW gives you activity points for exercise. Points are based on intensity and duration of the workout. You have the option to eat or not eat those activity points.

My thought is that you must have eaten a lot of fruit and veggies which are zero points, but still have calories.
