It has taken me 5 months to loose 50 lbs. Right now I usually net 1300. I couldn't just eat 1300 though. That's where C25K has come in. I eat back the calories I earn running. My loss is slowing down to a more normal rate now though. If I eat less, I feel too tired.

I'm doing this right now. When I started I was 280lbs and couldn't finish week 1. I am now completing week 6 at 228lbs. I have had to repeat weeks multiple times, but I am making progress and feeling very accomplished. The calorie defecit was why I lost weight but the extra calories from C25K sure did help.

I don't know how it would work for anyone else but my heart rate monitor tells me that I do.

My heart rate monitor is my new best friend. It specifically tells me how many calories I burned for whatever activity I happen to be doing!

Sadly I can fluctuate 2-4lbs during TOM.

I have sizes from 14-20 currently in my closet. The only 20 is simply being kept as a reminder. I bawled the day that I bought a 20 for the first time. I am currently a very loose 18 and a few failry tight 16s. Hoping to be firmly in a 16 soon!

I think that the 25lbs you have lost is very motivational. I would like to be there soon but I feel like this should be happening faster than it is. I must just be impatient, but if I can put it on so fast why can't it come off as quickly. Busting my butt at the gym and still it stalls every few pounds. I really just…

OUCH! 55 pounds over what my license says. It was a lie when I put it down and I'm heavier now. By the end of the year it will not be a lie!

Totally not crazy. I can't seem to stay off the scale. I know I should but I don't know how. Hopefully someone will have some good ideas so that I can see the big picture and not all the little disappointments in between.

unsalted nuts are sometimes a good choice for those extra calories.

I usually have a very heavy flow too. I know that it feels icky. My advice is wear black pants "just in case" and do as much as you feel able. I do it because it's the right thing and like I read earlier.... I need the extra calories for chocolate. :laugh:
