  • I knew I knew you from somewhere besides here....
  • "Happy" Monday and so nice to see new faces on this board. Welcome to all of you!!! Dogs decided last night that from 2:30 to 4:30am was a necessary playtime, so I'm so much dragging *kitten* today. Unreal...ready to ship them off somewhere (ok not really). Coffee isn't even really helping so far. Maybe I just need to…

  • Hello and welcome!! Do you have a specific goal in mind? boogie bounce sounds like fun! Is it similar to like a zumba thing?
  • 5 pounds a month is a fairly aggressive goal, it's doable but will not be easy. And as you get closer to your goal the weight loss slows down, just to warn you. And yes, slowing down metabolisms are the WORST. I watch my teenage son demolish food and I'm just so jealous!!! Best of luck to you, if you need any help or have…
  • Hey there, have you entered your information in the system to get a calorie goal? What other plans do you have in place to reach your goal of 1 pound a week? If you are new to calorie counting here's a thread that can help get you going in the right direction…
  • I don't know your exact situation on food limitations, so not sure I have any advice to give on that. Has your doctor given you any direction on that? Best of luck to you!

  • welcome to the new faces...and yes...COFFEE!!!!!
  • Welcome! What plan do you have in place to reach your goal? There are several groups out there for people losing larger amounts of weight, but there is a glitch in the system right now that won't allow you to join unfortunately. Hopefully it will be up soon!! Working in a group with people that are trying to reach the same…
  • One other thing you could try are "mini goals" and give yourself incentives. Whether it's "when I lose 10 pounds I can get a pedicure" or "If log 20 workouts I can get that new X" That sometimes helps me as well.
  • For me, motivation runs out as well, so for me I have to just keep grinding until things become a habit and I just do them automatically. Reading success stories on here can help, and seeing people accomplish their goals help as well. At the end of the day though I know it's all on me to get the job done.
  • Hi Matt, and welcome back!!! What goals do you have this time around and what plans do you have in place to reach them? Keep that motivation going!!

  • Hi and welcome. What are the goals that you have? What plan to have to reach them?
  • Under the blog area there are some great recipes https://blog.myfitnesspal.com/recipes/ But there is no set diet here, it's a calorie counting site and you can eat whatever you choose, the food database has a TON of entries, or you can add your own information if you the food you are eating you don't see listed in the…

  • My workweek was so stressful, I threw a bottle of wine in the fridge thinking "screw it" before I went to the gym. Got home from the gym, made dinner, ate, then started on a puzzle. Realized I still had the wine chilling, but didn't drink it. Now I just have to get through today and tomorrow. I'm so used to netflix and…
  • Welcome back!!!
  • Hi Sweats, I'm on Lexapro combined with Wellbutrin. I'm not ashamed of it, it's something that I need to keep sane. I used to joke with my doctor the way my depression and anxiety worked that I wasn't going to kill myself, I was going to kill you. (joking...sort of). I really feel a lot less on edge, I tried taking myself…
