That early I might start over. I did something like that too... However later if it happens there is something in the book about that, he says you can take your weeks off at slightly different times. I just got back on Saturday after a week and 1/2 off for no good reason then I just got lazy. However Saturday was B7 for me…

I find a lot of things stupid... too many to list here because well I have a low tolerance for idiots. Funny stupid things: I'll just pick a favorite for now. People that get all up in arms about how X book copied Y book. Only X book is a classic that has been around for years and Y book is just ok or kind of trash that…

What is everyone's hardest exercise? Mine are the squats. I'm only doing 50 lbs (I think its 25 lbs plus the bar I use, which I think is 25lbs) because they don't have a squat rack. But the real reason I hate them is I can NOT squat to parallel. If I have no weight and put my arms out (or have dumbells and hold them…

I am 25 now... hoping to have my first at 26 or 27. My DH is older though, he is 28 now.

weighted gloves and vests are good for doing something where you can't have weights in your hands. like we would use ankle and wrists weights in karate sometimes. Doing the movement as fast as you can control with higher weight helped you improve speed in your punches and kicks when you remove the weight. I would guess a…

I want to Grow old with the love of my life Raise children Go to Italy Go to Ireland Yeah those are the biggest ones in order. I'm sure there are others though.

I wouldn't worry about it too much, don't go absolutely crazy on food and you should be fine. Last time I was there I had plenty of ice cream, desserts, fried food etc and I don't think I gained anything. Granted it was before I started here so I was already pretty overweight but just the amount of walking helped a ton. If…

So today I did my second workout A. I did my squats with barbells because I wasn't sure about using the smith machine I have heard alot of bad things about it especially for knees. I think I'm going to have to though because even with 20 lb dumbbells I feel like my legs could do alot more, its my arms that are weak. I…

My proposal was bad... but the marriage has been great so I can't complain... much (and complaints are really meant to pick on him). He had no money at the time and had ruined his credit. I was still in college. We had talked about getting married so I knew he would propose eventually. He bought the ring while I was with…

Can you do them on your knuckles. I did karate for a while and we would do pushups with our hands in fists. The goal would be to have the weight on your first two large knuckles (the ones that should hit the person in a punch). This was to help strengthen our wrists for punching, but it would also be good to keep you from…

This is one thing I am a bit worried about. I just got some more responsibilities at work (which is a good thing) but I'm going to have to do quite a bit more travel and I came in at a busy part of the project. I was in DC for a few days 2 weeks ago, am probably going to Seattle in early April (right before Easter...…

Assuming that I am reading that I am converting right OP that means you only need to lose a bit over 10 lbs. I would go with the books recommendation in that case.

I generally due 2 oz (which is the serving on the box) if I'm having it with something else, like a chicken breast and 4oz if the pasta is really the whole meal.

I think doing that for a while would be a good thing to try if your close to your goal. I stayed with my original goal on here that is a 500 calorie deficit but I'm obese (and the book in the section on eating as quite a few places where it says "unless your obese" I'm more wanting to make the muscle I have stronger and…

Click on "My Home" then "Goals" choose to change goals at the bottom. Pick the custom option and you can change them on that page.

Try not to be nervous I was nervous about them before my first B workout yesterday. They went just fine. :)

I don't "spike" with any idea that it helps me lose more weight. I do it because there is no way I could tell my husband that I won't go out to eat to places like chilis or the cheesecake factory anymore without ruining my marriage. Eating out as a social activity is too important to him. There are things that we always…

I have a hard time with the lunges too. It was the only one I didn't complete the full sets of during my first B workout yesterday. But I have always hated lunges. I have trouble bending my knees enough to get down that low.

I think it depends on how strong both beliefs are. See I'm sort of religious in that I still believe alot of the catholic stuff I was taught however I find most catholic church's around here want to stifle any free thinking (Yes I know they aren't all like that but I stopped wanting to attend church when no matter what the…

I had the same question on deadlifts so I found a video on how to do them on you tube. The trainer bent down picked up the bar and then each time when he went down again kept the bar just barely off the ground. (So option b)

I just started and did my first 2 workouts this week but I am already seeing this problem. I don't want to use smith machines for squats since they tend to lead to bad form so I'm planning to just use dumbbells. (I just did body weight the first time) for the dead lifts mine have some of the curved bars that are separate…

From this I'm going to guess it was 25 lbs. It was definitely more then 10 since it weighed more then one of the plates that I grabbed to put on it. Thanks for the help!

shameless bump.

I stop it once I finish the exercise or when I remember to hit the button whichever happens first. Sometimes this means when I get out of the zone and it beeps at me.

The heart rate limit on there is really just a suggestion of about where it starts to not really be "worth it" to push yourself harder. so if your limit is 160 you won't see much more of a benefit in calories burned to push to 170. However it could also be that you have a higher max heart rate. I think I might since my max…

Do you know it was either 1 or 2 cups for sure? If your sure it was one of the two then it should be easy to guess by how much space it takes up. If 1 or 2 cups was a guess and for all you know it could be 1.5 this wouldn't work though.

Lol I'm guessing my mental block = my fear of heights + fear of looking really stupid in the gym... As I said above if I can try it out at home I will... just trying to think of something about as high as a bench. Pushups don't scare me because I know I'm not going to fall. Even if I tried to do normal on the floor ones I…

4 oz (weight) of what is a cup? This would be different for everything, including different types of rice, depending on how dense it was. So if the 16 oz was by weight there is no way to know how many cups it actually was. If the 16oz was by volume then its 2 cups, but most of the time non-liquids aren't given a volume…

For the step ups I'm not going to go higher for a while. I can't convince myself that I would be able to do it on a bench. I hate being up high especially if I think there is ANY chance I can fall. (I can't even go to the edge of a balcony, the ones with railings higher then my waist). If I had anything that high at home I…
