Exactly. That's why taking photos to compare helps.

Make sure you have enough water for it's easy to get dehydrated when drinking coffee becomes a habit. It's a strong diuretic so especially if you also workout, have a glass of water before/after/while drinking coffee. (Which will make you feel even more full!)

Good luck! Counting to 50, 100 (or whatever works for you) may help to change your focus. At least it helps some of my friends. I usually prefer black coffee when I crave for sugar, followed by a cup of water. That's enough to have my mind forget about the cravings but if I develop some caffeine addiction... Well, I'll…

Will you be able to control your sweet tooth and not lose control and let the cheat day carry on to the day after and then to the day after and so on? If you're absolutely sure that you can, and if you won't regret your cheat day, and if your body can handle the excessive peak of sugar, then go ahead. Usually it takes time…

I stumbled upon an infographic about breasts: http://www.onlineschools.org/blog/15-breasts/

Hmm... Hmmm... No. I bet I'd still be too tempted to eat two dozens if I baked cookies. And 20 years ago I thought plain milk was not much to my liking because it tasted too sweet. Go figure :indifferent:

I guess it's because the purpose of strength training is not burning calories but building muscle for which you need to have enough fuel and nutrients. And the amount of calorie you burn varies greatly based on your muscle mass and the resistance you build so it's hard to calculate an average? Probably, maybe.

Same long wait here and I finally gave up  It doesn't matter whether I gain or lose weight, they are impeccably same.

Actually it is a it's-normal-to-have-those-cravings-and-feel-overwhelmed comment. I love how you came up with the 'weak minded' based on absolutely zero solid evidence. Heartwarming.

I closed the tab after seeing the first myth. Every semi informed person with minimal high school physics knowledge knows that muscle is heavier than fat which is of course measured in terms of volume, you don't compare weight in terms of weight. It's not a myth to bust. Either yahoo copywriters are having a hard time to…

Reminds me this: http://www.buzzfeed.com/mjs538/what-school-lunches-look-like-in-20-countries-arou School lunches tell a lot about eating habits of a country.

I have no idea what those boobies you're talking about are.

I think body fat percentage was meant there. BMI of 10 is impossible without fatal results even for kids unless they have growth hormone imbalance. BMI 10 means 70 lbs for the 5'10 me. My bone mass is higher than 2/3 of that.

Fruits yes, fruit juices no. The amount of sugar I may consume via juice is ridiculous at the cost of necessary fiber in my opinion so I try to eat as much as I can, just not drink it.
-
Quite the opposite :p It's hard to stop before the whole jar is licked clean.

Happy for you :) Still I would definitely not promote nutella as good dietary fat. Hazelnuts, maybe; not over walnuts.

No, I'm saying it's wiser to choose polyunsaturated over monounsaturated because monounsaturateds may not necessarily lower LDL or improve HDL and in hypercholesterolemic patients, especially palmitoleic acid may behave like a saturated fatty acid. I say 'may' as I don't remember reading more than a handful of articles and…
-
Which is another newsflash. Excellence of monounsaturated fats, that I'd beg to differ.

Too grumpy for the past two days to take things lightly so I apologize if I sounded like I had any doubts about male intelligence, of which I don't for the record or at least not any more than human intelligence in general.

Addictions, even psychological ones, have a lot to do with the addict's brain chemistry which are again found as a result of scientific studies as undiscovered as they may still be in some ways. Psychology is very much involved in brain chemistry so therapists have knowledge about the cause behind those addictions. So…

It makes so much sense to compare a medical branch such as gynecology to a feeling caused by hormones. How does learning about female reproductive system which is a solid scientific fact, for which you do not need to grow a pair of ovaries, compare to commenting on a cravin, a completely subjective and individual feeling…

I love the know-it-all comments by males about this problem. It's either a) they're too ignorant for their own sake or b) male PMS is a very common medical condition so they can relate.

Based on my experience of 16 years, I never had a problem with indulging in chocolate for the first day of my period but on that day I don't have much appetite for anything else so I think that evens out. Water never ever worked for me so I prefer brushing my teeth for a good 5 minutes, drinking mineral water (sparkling…

Good recipe (though I would use dried fruits and honey to replace sugar and syrup) but I don't agree on trading walnuts with cashews. Cashews are a poorer in fiber, proteins and especially in polyunsaturated fatty acids which are crucial for a healthy diet. I think that's too much to give up in exchange of a few calories.

This.

I made a quick check and NuGo Slim claims to offer protein bars high in fiber without maltitol or any sweeteners. I can't vouch as I don't think I saw the brand offered in my country but well yeah... google came up with that :)

No, they're just bullies with any alterior motives. It's the size! Size does matter! Honestly, honey bees' fate is pretty tragic :frown:
-
:noway: I'll stick to hornets chopping honey bees in half. Gotta love social bugs.

Yes! And it's hypothetically fullfilling! Yum! It doesn't always work but my sugar cravings do die after spending enough time just looking at recipes and pictures. I wish that always was the case
