I really need accountability right now so I'm glad you're all here. I got back from a cruise in March and I am really having trouble with sugar. I think I need to not have sugar at all…

I think this is a really good question. Personally I have a desk job and I don't do heavy workouts because they aggravate my hip and back. Also it stresses me out if my calorie goal varies a lot from day to day. So currently I'm at 1500/day because it feels like enough food and it gives me a slow loss. I can plan ahead to…

* When was your 'AH-HA' moment that made you decide, 'ahhhm okay it's time to do something about this weight?' * What made a difference this time which differed from previous attempts to lose weight &/or get healthy? 5'3", 127.6 this morning. Current goal is 125, want to see how that feels. I have a vacation in March so I'd like to be below 125 by then but it's a marathon not a sprint!

For the last couple of days I've been feeling simultaneously "too fat" and "too thin"! Guess I'm still adjusting mentally. * Having to remember not to judge people who…

Try eating some fresh fruit and veggies (especially green veggies) every day, even if you still eat junk. That way, you will be getting more nutrients and start getting used to the taste of healthier food. Also, it sounds like you might be dealing with some depression. If you can take a walk outside to get some vitamin D,…

OP: I've had some success with 5:2 so far (only been on it for a couple of weeks). I prefer to only have to count calories two days a week on 5:2 rather than having to count calories every day using a traditional approach. Sometimes different approaches work for different people, so it may be worth a try.

Great work! Congratulations! (I'm on my second week of 5:2 and liking it so far.)

This. I grew up with an emotionally abusive father. My mom finally divorced him when I was in college. I wish she had left him much sooner.

Ooh I'm gonna try that.

If you tend to eat really fast, you could try eating slower and chewing a lot. I hope you feel better!
