I find that monitoring the pie graph on my phone (Home/Daily/Pie Graph Icon) shows me my comparative levels of carbs, fat and protein. I was actually low on fat and high on carbs, and I'm always trying to find protein rich foods to get that level up.

I gained 4 pounds after a week of training in Holland, and jumped up to 205. I am now 173 and my goal is between 164 and 167. I'm 5'8"

But it doesn't have to be that way. If you embrace and learn what you are doing, and continue to change your habits accordingly, hopefully you can teach yourself a new lifestyle. The thought of having to count all my food for the rest of my life is depressing! I have never eaten so healthy, and I want to live long, walk my…

NO I cannot agree! Eat how much you feel like you should be eating, and be reasonable and honest with yourself. What if the exercise calorie estimate was wrong? I really believe that you have to teach yourself what being 'full' really feels like, other wise you will just gain it back if you stop counting calories. I am…

It is interesting...I look in the mirror and sometimes I see some definition and the beginnings of a six pack, and other days I see the little spare tire that's still left. I think it's key to keep some 'old fat clothes' around, and try them on once in a while.

I agree with this entirely. Your results will show it.

I'm not so sure... if you aren't hungry why eat up to that number?

If you are talking specifically about the "Finished logging for Today?" followed by the "Complete This Entry" button, I don't think it does anything else but tell you where you'd be in 5 weeks if every day was like today. I don't always do it, and I always have messages about how many days in a row I've logged in (e.g.…

5) Facebook people don't like it when I share my MFP weight loss ticker there. 24 of 30 lbs lost and 1 like???? What the heck? MFP community is way more supportive because they 'get it'. 6) I can't care what the BMI calculator says, I don't feel that bad.

1/4 to 1/3 bag of microwave popcorn. very satisfying (one-half bag of Orville's is 130 cal). wash it down with water of course.

Lookin' good dude. Good Job.

I agree completely.

3) Doing a midweek weign-in and knowing I'll have an awesome result for my weekly weight posting 4) Learning how to manage and curb my 'hunger' with water.

Just made the "fat burn soup" which is actually more like chili, I'd say. Tastes great even though I had to substitute cumin with curry powder, you could also use chili powder. Although, does anybody know if cumin is an active ingredient in the fat burn?

honestly... my first reaction was holy sh&#! what a difference!

I've found that the key to this whole thing is to re-define what "being full" feels like, to your brain. Secondly, if you have mastered this, then the calorie count should only be a confirmation of what you are learning. I sometimes have a more active day than usual and can feel that I need a little more food. Strangely…

I found it encouraging at first because it dropped quickly at that time, but I think it should not become a real habit. Later on you will probably level off somewhat (I am just over 3 weeks in), and I doubt you will see as much difference at that time, which is probably when you should check less often. Just my $.02
